Hello,

I've run into a problem with CinemaVision and this skin. It seems that the slider controls in this skin are consistently in the wrong position relative to the value assigned to them. Here is the post I made about over in the CV forum. They seem to think it is a skin issue, and based on the screen grabs he posted it does appear so. Is there anything I can check that would cause the skin to behave this way?

Thx

The skin has nothing to do with how the slider is positioned. We just provide a template for it. I suspect your issue is that you don't like the width of the so-called "nub" for the sliderex control. The width makes it appear it as all the way left, when that isn't the case. Since this slider is used everywhere, not just CinemaVision settings, I will not change it. However, you can easily use an image editor on the skin's media files for slidernub.png and slidernubf.png to make it any width (and color) you want. For example:

Image

You could then use the Kodi texturepacker (wiki) to create a Texture.xbt including your modded images and then rename it and make it available as a skin theme to which you could switch in appearance settings.

Hmm.. ok. One more question though, so that I do not mess up everything. If you'll notice in my screen grab the settings named fade out & fade in don't suffer from the same problem as the ones below them. Those have a value of 3 and the slider is not positioned all the way to the left, but the sliders below these have greater values and yet the sliders are positioned all the way to the left. Also in the sequence editor of this addon where sliders are used, they appear the same way, with their sliders all the way to the left. So if I were to change the images you mentioned, would that not affect them all, and have a negative affect on the fade in & fade out sliders, which appear correct?

thx

Hi there,

I tried installing Aeon mq5, however it errors out and says failed to install dependency opentitles.org. the installation then fails. I've tried on two different boxes. Using official 15.1 kodi version on windows.

Is there a work around? I googled this ton death and couldn't find an answer. Please help.

I think it's actually opensubtitles.org. No doubt just a problem that for whatever reason Kodi repository isn't providing the addon at the moment. Probably will work later if you try again. You can also manually download the addon and install from zip if it doesn't come up. Get it here: https://github.com/amet/service.subtitle...5.0.12.zip Once you install from zip then MQ5 should install without further issue.

Using the zip file opentitles add on comes up with error "does not have the correct structure error"....is there a way to not have your skin dependent on opensubtitles? Bummer I can't use the skin right now.

There was just a new version of opensubtitles.org pushed to the Kodi Isengard repo today (ver 5.0.14). I bet MQ5 will now install without that problem. I just did a test on a fresh install of Kodi 15.2 RC3 installed my repo from zip and then installed the skin from my repo and everything downloaded and installed including opensubtitles.org in about 2.5 minutes.

Still doing the same error, installation failed for skin and the opentitles addon. I upgraded to 15.1 to 15.1rc3. Still shows opentitles as 5.013 version not the .14 version you mentioned in the kodi repository. How do I get the .14 version as the download?

Again, the skin does not position the nub on the slider. The skin provides an image and Kodi sizes it and positions it. Yes, if you change the image it will be seen in every instance of the slider. Why not just experiment and see if you like it?

Got the skin installed. How do you get rid of showing the recent / random movies / tv shows on main selection home screen? I've tried everything.

Go to:

Settings / skin settings / Widgets - then just disable what you dont want showing.

Hi Scott,
I know this is not about the skin compatibility to Isengard, but entirely a feature request, but maybe you would know how to do it easily :

There is just one thing that bothers me with Aeon MQ5 : when you watn to choose an audio or subtitle track, the selection screen takes all the screen, so during the selection you miss the playback.
Would it be possible to make a floating small windows in order to be able to follow the video during track selection?

Great skin, really love it. I'm using Isengard and installed from zip fine. When I attempt to update my video library, Kodi crashes and I get the message "unfortunately Kodi has stopped working". I can post my log tomorrow but curious if you have come across this. I've read in other threads that it could have something to do with widget.skin addon.
