Hi.
I just can't seem to figure this out... to my understanding it should be enough to browse for an animated gif (poster) manually and then it should work with Jarvis? what steps am i missing? because now its there, but not animated
best regards.

This style looks great and I'll def steal for the time being, but I prefer more animation.....I dunno, I just don't feel this style as much as the other. There are a couple out there and they look cool, but the ones like imitation game posted earlier are more my style. To each their own though!. Hopefully with kodi now being able to do this, it'll blow up on the interwebs. I need to look up how to make these, they shouldn't be too hard no?

You should name your poster poster.gif then manually select it ?

Can you make smaller, the whole gif doesn't play.

@movie78 I was going to try to make the Genysis gif smaller and a little shorter myself, you can edit them in PS. If no-one beats me to it I will have a go later, just a little busy at the mo.

I think there may be a limitation on the length of around 3 to 5 seconds, certainly I have trouble playing anything longer. Perhaps someone else can confirm this ?

@ProRipp, it´s limited on Kodi, 79 MB ram, which is equivalent to 10 full hd frames.
@djhifi, yes is limited here too.

Hopefully this gets bumped up or give us the ability to input max amount of ram to use either via gui or advancedsettings.xml. I mean, obviously I can see this killing a firestick or some of the droid boxes out there, but us guys with PLENTY of ram to spare would love to have the full animations.
