Passthrough is always a problem sync wise ... it is package aligned. You can only drop or dupe - no soft resample or something. If you really want perfect sync - then just don't use passthrough.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I tested 1119 for a longer period of time, definately including TV usage. 1128 for a day, don't exactly know if there was any TV usage involved. The tvheadend server is on an unraid machine on the network.
I will roll back this weekend and see if it changes behaviour.

It's not there anymore ... when passthrough is played it's always drop / dupe.

Hello folks,
just got aware of those builds of Kodi with Openelec. I am running 6.0 on my Asus Chromebox as a single install. So my question is, is it worth installing the beta?I would use Leopolds addon as it has a backup function which hopefully works to go back to the stable version without data loss. I am using Kodi to watch my video collection and favourite TV shows.
Thanks

Hello and thank you for your work.
Would it be possible that you build a tvheadend service with transcoding support?

Ok, i Understand.
I already have a x86 tvh build with transcoding from openelec.tv but it doesn`t work with Kodi 16.
Because tvheadend service is not directly included in OE i thought it would be ok.
Thank you for your feedback.
