Linux OpenELEC Testbuilds for x86 (Kodi 17)
(2015-12-23, 14:24)Milhouse Wrote: Due to the Christmas change freeze (aka busy with family) I'm not doing another x86 build until ~28th so if you need to install an addon from zip try the command line/ssh or downgrade to #1218 (choose the correct Generic/Nvidia_Legacy version), install the zip, then upgrade again. Sorry for the hassle.

No worries. You do lots for the community. Take it easy and have a great Christmas!
no no problem at all. I have just reported the bug. I can always find a workaround.
indeed, merry christmas!
i cannot seem to enter the configuration of any addon, or update any addons.
it seems the 'select' key is ignored when i select an addon....

using:
OpenELEC-Nvidia_Legacy.x86_64-7.0-Milhouse-20151220232738-#1220-gc07aeab.tar

Did it work in #1218?
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
yes it did, i reverted back to #1218 for now
also in #1218 retrospect latest git (4.0.1) worked fine, in #1220 no go... (tried it with rtlxl btw)
in #1220 i can 'right click' on an addon and change the configuration, but 'select' does nothing.
Same behaviour here as well. Haven't checked keymaps yet though so could be related to them.
I can confirm, that I am NOT able to install addons from zip with the latest build.
KODI 20 - LibreELEC 11

Installing add-ons from zip is only broken in #1220 and will be fixed in the next build.

Thanks and enjoy holidays.

Build 1220, no audio from GUI or music. Passthrough does work though.

Change your audio device ... to the correct output
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
These new millhouse builds seem to try to use pulse as the default or change to use it. I would also loose audio mid video. The pulse stuff keeps getting added back in but it just seems like it causes more trouble than helps anything
4k 30hz or 60hz does not work with generic on skylake and alpine ridge. 4k 60hz is not even listed in available modes:

i will try nvidia gtx 950 now ...
