I see no difference between a pvr backend supplying content from a third party program, when compared with a pvr backend (ie. IPTV simple) using a plugin (ie. USTVnow) to generate content. The current build of USTVnow can build m3u/strm and xmltv files for IPTV simple.

What I meant is that "Python Scripts" add-ons should not be dicussed here in the "PVR" subforums because they are not using the integrated PVR frontend or client API in Kodi.
That is, this specfific subforum is only about add-ons that have extension point "xbmc.pvrclient" and are of the type "PVR"http://kodi.wiki/view/Category:PVR_add-ons, meaning of the ones available here https://github.com/kodi-pvr
Also see that this "PVR" sunforum description specifically says "For all support questions related to using Kodi as a frontend to third party PVR backends", and the Kodi.tv wiki describe the deffinition of "PVR" in this this context here http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR and what a backend is here http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR_backend
This might be feel like semantics to use, but until Kidi's PVR API support Python Scripts based add-ons and the add-on discussed is actually using Kodi's PVR interface thenI don't think that the discussion belong in this "PVR" subsection of the forums.
So if if you want to discuss a video addon like the one ustvnow.com then you should not take offence when refered to the video add-on forum = http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=154

USTVnow also provides a hook for a PVR backend... semantics!

If you want to change this then please consider convincing Kodi's PVR developers to extend the PVR API to add native support or write a special PVR client add-on in C with some kind of wrapper support for Python Scripts addons.
Just have a forum moderator move this thread if you insist on discussing (Python Script) addons that do not use the PVR API or otherwise just ask the original poster to start a new dicussion thread in the video addon subforum.
