I just did a fresh install of Kodi (Jarvis RC3 with a clean git pull for Madnox) .. Everything seems to be working well but I think I might have run into a bug.

In the season level of tv shows .. Even though I enabled Extra-Fanart as a customization it isn't cycling artwork. It works at the tv show level and the episode level however.

Can anyone else reproduce this ??

Also, should I use the add-on pack from post #8? It says "CANCELED" in the post at this point yet no add ons actually install if you install the skin manually through git.

U need to try to install the addons by yourself... I dont update the addonpack anymore - its just for emergency if you cant find some of the old addons... Will be easier after update!

EDIT:
i will renew the whole tutorial section soon... Wink

but i wont add actual addons anymore ! so just use the addonpacks i upload for "emergency" situations, if you cant find it - i will upload after update a SMALL pack with maybe 3 addons and that should be enough Wink

but be a bit more patient...

I think Extrafanrt works in all views if you have setup correctly in skin.
Will confirm later when I'm at home.

Food for thought for our Super Duper Dev team ! Aka request
TV Shows / Seasons trailers incorporating in info panels
TV trailers are on trakt, TVDB, IMDB Tv etc etc .
Could this be possible ? Would make a great addition.

Hi shaktoo,

This will already be there in some form buddy, for the older views it should work using TvTunes, configure it to play theme when browsing Tvshows and seasons and then via context menu, TvTunes, do search using and Theme Library, if you see theme video then download that and there you go. Otherwise place theme.mp4, mkv, avi in the relevant folder.

You'll need to look into TvTunes wiki and update you advancesettings.xml to exclude these theme files otherwise the next time you scrape they'll get picked up.

I plan to look into the more recent views and add the playback in them, at the moment you'll probably just get the sound and no picture.

great stuff.... I have been using MADNOX now for quite sometime in Isengard.
looking forward to the Jarvis release of Kodi and the Jarvis version of MADNOX.
any idea when the tutorial section will be updated for Jarvis especially for dummies like me Smile

Doc I am not asking for the trailer to be used as theme I have already tried that and works to an extent . I do not want that. what I am asking is just a button in the info view .. when you click on i on Tv show & the infoview panel comes on.. i just want a button besides play for TV Show / season trailer. I was busy entertaining guests last night hence was not able to look into it but will find it & get some screen shots into what I am talking about.

Don't worry about the stable release.. why not try Jarvis right now with latest git Madnox... its as stable as could possibly be.
that's the beauty of it.. you consult the tutorials when you get stuck.. otherwise there inst any huge changes that require any significant input.

Do you mean when you press I, that has a trailer button but only for movies I think? otherwise, yeah screenshots will help me.

Yes exactly.. trailer button but for TV shows & seasons. Could be via trakt / you tube / TVDB / IMDB
