Hi Marcel,
Trying to plug in the new animated posters option you were kind enough to do for me.
Added a switch to set Skin.HasSetting(SkinHelper.EnableAnimatedPosters) and did a quick change of a poster in an itemlayout to
$INFO[Window(Home).Property(SkinHelper.AnimatedPoster)]
with
<visible>Skin.HasSetting(SkinHelper.EnableAnimatedPosters)</visible>
I'm just getting the fallback for every movie. I know there aren't many animated posters available but checked and one exists for 2001. I checked the code and it seems you use the imdb as required and in my nfo for 2001 I have <id>tt0062622</id> and the image exists
Am I doing something wrong, like usual, is there anything I can do to make sure my movies have an imdb number?
TIA,
Mike

Can you check the latest Git version ? I fixed some issues that were related
Still the same unfortunately.

And you are absolutely shure that a animated poster exists for those items ?
I've checked in my library and only the newer ones have a animated poster.
The script checks for this image:

2001 poster
I don't expect all poster to have an animated option as the db is always being added to, but the above link is for 2001 and my screenshot would have this film directly right of 1941 and you can see the IMD no matches from the label output? I'll build a poster backup once animated are working to deal with no existent posters in the db.

Maybe the imdb id is scraped incorrectly to your library ?

placed '-' around IMDB to check for spaces and none, just refreshed from internet and same IMDB no being displayed? Altered IMDB label to have <visible>Skin.HasSetting(SkinHelper.EnableAnimatedPosters)</visible> to confirm setting is active as well. IMDB no seems ok but nothing.
Just checked one of the next films you can see at the /animatedgis/ and that is Star Wars. Same for that IMDB looks ok but no animated poster?
