v16 Android pass-through test thread. EXPERIMENTAL!!!
Many thanks for the latest build (2016-03-08), here are my first thought about it:

I do not have any audio pass-through issue anymore Big Grin
the only problem i see is the video refresh rate that doesn't seem to work as it used to. Before shield latest upgrade (with PT build) but I'm not sure if it's related to this post

working great with Dolby, Dolby HD, DTS, DTS-HD

panasonic vsx s510 ; Shield TV 3.0 upgrade ;
When playing a Blu-ray movie usually an option pops up to choose between going to the menu of the BD (this rarely works) or play the main movie directly.

When choosing the first option, menu, often the movie plays immediately anyway. When this is a movie with TrueHD the sound is distorted and also the picture is full of artefacts or the movie will stop completely.

When choosing to directly play the main movie TrueHD works fine.

Tested it quite a few times and the result is always the same. So, for me, TrueHD works fine, when playing the main movie and skipping the menu altogether :-)

It's latest Jarvis at the time of build, so above RC1 and below RC2 (which is not out yet)

Please Koying a 15.2 Isengard build? It seems to be the most stable as 16.0 Jarvis is suffering from refresh rates, random pausing and other bugs.
Thank you!!

Nope. 15.x is dead and buried Wink
Anyone else still experiencing sound not in sync with movie?

I have the same issue. It's out of sync with DTS-HD MA, DD TrueHD and DTS (possibly). Plain Dolby Digital (AC3) doesn't seem to be affected by this issue. As some others mentioned in this thread before, if you go in the audio menu in the overlay (while playing a movie) and disable, then enable again passthrough, it looks like it fixes the delay issue.

This would be a special request. I started using 16.0 but with all of the bugs I went back to 15.2 and no bugs with flawless video playback. Still not dead lol If not its ok but would love to have it. Thanks again.

I have exactly the same issue as yours with DTS-HD MA, TrueHD formats, about 0.300~0.350s off sync.

DTS seems in sync with me.

confirmed, DTS is no issue, tested 5 videos and there were in sync. Have to test HD audio yet...

Yeah my bad, the file was the problem. Other DTS files play fine with no noticeable delay. So it only affects HD audio formats it seems.

Try 16.1 RC 1. This fixed my issues with 16.0.
Hello!

I have the 16.0 final with pt audio.
What is fixed in this 16.1 rc1 ?

I have no problem, just bad names of USB devices connected to the shield, so I don't know if I should update

Thanks!
