hi, i have a fire tv stick for a month now, installed all the apps i need including kodi.

i have some issues while playing sopcast links through plexus addon: sopcast app starts but can't play the stream fluently, it lags continously no matter what the bitrate of the link is, so that it is impossible to watch any event. acestream, on the other hand, still through plexus addon, plays flawlessy at every bitrate (usually well above 2000 kb/s) , so i guess it is not an internet connection problem.

fyi, i have kodi installed on my android smartphone (not the newest one), including plexus, sopcast plays with no issues.

any clue?

Innner addon issued opening categories... Any good ones for fire stick. The internet has let me down today. Well google has. Smh

that is weird, I have an acct with amazon and no CC on file... I also have the AFTV with same acct and no issues.

If you want to download apps from the amazon store it asks you to first complete amazon 1 click information : address and payment method; im barely using the firestick

Nope, it downloads apps just fine as well. I just tested it, installed "Pac-Man 256 - endless arcade maze" game. All good.
But then, not sure if old accounts might have a different settings, I had an acct in Amazon since 2001. I only add a CC when actually doing purchases, which I remove right afterwards.

Maybe because your device is already registered and your account is old and already good but i just created an amazon account for use the fire sick for the first time days ago and it asked me to complete the amazon 1 click first, i could not download any app until that was completed (billing address and dc or cc information).

Create an Amazon account online and you can skip the One Click stuff. Then, use that account to set up the Fire Stick. That's how I did it anyway.

Got firestick up and running no problem, using es file Explorer, managed to download and install kodi ok but haveing problems downloading anything else such as firestarter using es file Explorer, downloads won't start, am I missing something?

You're probably on fire os 5. Firestarter no longer works. I hear amazon blocked it.

But on the bright side, side loaded apps now appear in the recent list
