Sure no problem, I added another shortcut to see how it goes. Look at your favourites.xml and see if it reflects the correct URL?

i believe its in $KODI/userdata/

Also would you mind letting me know which channel you are adding to your favorites? I want to see if i can reproduce it in any way.

Also What OS/Kodi Version and Skin are you running.

The channel I am using is Ukraine Today (https://www.youtube.com/user/UKRAINETODA...pp=desktop). However I don't think that it makes any difference (but there are regular daily updates to this channel so it's a good test)

I have had this problem on occasion in the distant past too. Something seems to break from time to time.

The OS doesnt matter, I have both Windows and iOS with the same issue. Kodi version is 16, or 16.1 and skin is Xonfluence.

ok that will give me an idea with what to look for.

The OS/Kodi Version and Skin version is so i can replicate it on my end. are you using win 10 or win 7, 8, 8.1?

ok let me make sure i'm getting this straight.

What you are saying is, when you add your channel to your favorites and you open your favorites and click on the channel, it loads a cached version of the Page?

Am I correct?

ok it appears I am able to reproduce this issue. I'm going to need to look into it. I'll see if i duplicate it when i use bromix's version.

Yes... exactly..... but apparently you have already notified this same situation but i don't understand if it's a add-on "bug" or if it's a osmc bug......

This is a very old issue going back to XBMC Frodo and I don't know what version of the youtube addon.

I do the same thing here, since it seemed that the YouTube addon would not allow me to access all my subscribed channels, I added a bunch of them to Kodi favorites and then created shortcuts on the skin I use (Currently MQ6, but the same with MQ5) A lot of these are daily news channels. If i would start Kodi up and go to watch a channel, it would show the current list. But if Kodi has been running for days and I go to watch that channel the next day, the new videos are not listed. To work around this, on my setup, hitting the backspace key takes me to a page that lists youtube options, I select subscriptions then the channel I want and it comes back with new videos on the list. I never complained about it, thought it might have been a youtube limitation, just got used to the workaround.

So this might take some digging.

The problem has come and gone over various periods. Nobody is complaining, we are just trying to help troubleshoot the issue.

The channels are saved in my youtube search, and if i access them in that way, I get the updated list. So it does seem to be some kind cached/not refreshing issue when it comes to favourite links.

yeah same here, the favourites.xml still says /channel/blah so i would have to look into how it's saved. It might be an issue with how the plugin launches from the favorites.

I'll have to tinker for a while.

@jmh2002 and @jdf76......... at this point you suggest to maintain the channellID inside the favourites.xml or you suggest to use the usernameID (i know some channel don't use the usernameID or it's be hidden in some mode) ?

I know when you add to favourites a channel after using the search feature the ChannellID has been added on favourites.xml..... on my i have add both Smile

Honestly i don't know. This is something that needs to be looked into by someone who is more familiar with python than I am at the moment. I'm going to do what i can to try and figure it out, but i can't guarantee anything at this point.

Yep, this isn't a Skin issue. Crash also with Confluence on V17.
Will try on another W10. Maybe it's my HTPC wich in cause (but don't think so)

EDIT : Work on a fresh install. I uninstall (profile also deleted) and did a fresh install it correct the issue.

Hi.

I have problems with vids tagged as inappropiate.

I have followed instructions from here : http://bestforkodi.com/fix-the-youtube-kodi-addon/ and now I have v1.20.4

All I get, when I try to run a vid tagged as inappropiate, is a message regarding it may be inappropiate for some users, and nothing else occurs.

I'm using Openelec Milhouse, last version, and Kodi 16.0 BETA3 on a Raspberry Pi 2B.
