Just wanted to mention that the April 1 build works perfectly w/Dell 3050 (Celeron J1800), but suffers from lip-sync error w/March 25 build. I can get debug log for latter if it'd help.

Afedchin, tried 25march build on amd a6 again
This time no kodi crash
Movie starts playing, it is using mvc decoder, but its in 2d , sems my projector doesnt switch?

I am using the 20160325 build. It works OK with my hardware.

CPU: AMD-A10-6800K APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8670D
Screen Resolution: 1920X1080@60Hz-Full Screen
Direct 3D Version: DirectX 11.1 (FL 11.1)

Settings? Drivers? What did u do?

Concrning drivers, i just read that we shouldnt use catalyst drivers but drivers through windows update, what did u do?

Can't open your log right now, but I think that your driver still disallow switch to 3D, now Kodi doesn't crash and continue working in 2D in this case.

Can't open your log right now, but I think that your driver still disallow switch to 3D, now Kodi doesn't crash and continue working in 2D in this case.

I'm sure that PDVD uses DirectX9 API + vendor specific API for stereo 3D (Intel S3D, AMD HD3D, nvapi), Kodi uses only DirectX11 API for stereo 3D also (which is independent API). As you can read in this thread stereo 3D works on all platforms Intel, nVidia and AMD, but not on yours.

Because it's not possible to change decoder on the fly. Kodi's VideoPlayer creates, initializes and uses decoder before switching stereo mode. If switching is failed VideoPlayer doesn't know about that.

Ok got it, and clear (im learning)
Last thing im gonna try is changing video driver.
I read i shouldnt use amd catalyst with direct x 11 but the driver that windows update gives.
Gonna try that. dRiver,who knows, if i not, i give up

My setup:

Core i3 4150 with Nvidia 950GT
Windows 8.1

April 1st build: Doesn't work. Only plays in 2D

Mar 25th build: Works but audio crackles in between(with loud sound)

Mar 22nd build: Works well with no audio problems but lip sync error every 30mins or so.

New Krypton MVC Windows build: April 7 (+pdb)

This is expiremental build to improve performance of MVC decoding and may contain bugs

Fixed:

• Fixed addvanced settings, <usedisplaycontrolhwstereo> and <forcemodechangebeforestereo> don't require <adjustrefreshrate> section anymore.
  
• Fixed decoding on some hardware which doesn't support hw decoding.
  
• Fixed num of internal buffers which causes decoding error in some cases.
  
• Fixed a performance issue in decoder.
  
• Fixed rendering video after resize Kodi window.
  
• Updated to the latest Krypton branch.
  

Added:

• Experimental: support of smooth playback.
  
• PR#9542 which solves issue with "ghosting" in some cases.
  

Known issues:

• The latest Krypton may causes an error: python27.dll not found.
