i have a question about the updatetime in the LiveBackground.

My setup ist a Server with SQL and 4 Clients with Windows 10 (all have the New Madnox on Git and Kodi 16.1)

Kodi on the SQL Server Updated every Day at 8pm.
When i get a New Movie on the Database, the LiveBackground doesnt change at 8:01pm.
Which time interval update the Livebackground? is it possible to trigger it?
Anytime i get the new movie in the LIveBackground but i cant see a rule or a special time behind this.

Had nobody an idea?
Tody was the same. I had updated my db on the server but the livebackground doesnt changed and show the new movie.

as far as I know slipass they are not real time which it seems you want. You need to tell us what is the content of your live background etc etc. But this will probably be something for either skin.shortcuts or shin.helper or which ever choice you are using for the live background. They are only updated after a library scan or a reload / restart believe. Are these new additions @ 8p.m. shown anywhere else? I use standard Kodi db's and do not manually update so don't know how what you are doing affects Kodi when running?

Couple questions. When setting TV widget, using recommended or next episodes, I can't get rid of the label under the widget. Same for weather forecast.

In video OSD, if I have "show weather when paused" selected, it only shows when pausing movies, not TV.

When playing music with Alternate Layout 1, if there is an artist logo, it appears on top of the artist's name in text.

Is this a known issue, or how can I make the text disappear when a logo loads?

I listen to music every day and I never see this happen, you sure you using the latest git version

I use the LiveBackground for movies and series. I have a seperat LiveBackground for movies, 3D movies an classic movies.
The update function on the server is a cron job. It comes with the addon "Library Auto Update". But it is not relevant for problem.

What I noticed yesterday , since I have seen a series or a movie on the client, has also been updated to Live Background view.

This is real pity. On the old madnox - without the skin shortcuts was the function given.

I haven't added any other options than 4 thumbs or Fanart, I added 'ExtraFanart' over on the right, nothing else! Flick the switch and infopanel Fanart will have extrafanart. That's all I've done and all I feel like doing!!

hehe i think some people use madnox also for movies and tvseries buddy ... i think he means the movie genre icons they are a lill bit more complicate hehe
or you just sniff too much on a diaper

you can play around with the fx layers etc
