Hi Sagrath,
Try to uninstall the plugin and delete the folder addon_data\plugin.audio.spotify in your userdata.
Then reinstall the last spotify plugin and renew your account association.
Do you have specials chars in your login or password ?

Yes, i installed a browser but i think it is not compatible.
So I just force my account with a copy of the account file (bring from another kodi installation).
It works, I can browse my music.
But i cant play any song. Apparently, the plugin can't connect to the spotify proxy.

-Uninstall addon
- close kodi
-Delete addon in userdata folder
-Delete webinformation in webbrowser
-close browser
-open browser
-start kodi
-install and set up Spotify
- start addon , wait for webbrowser ok

the account is the same. But with my facebook login does't work.

So, the addon is working, I can get my musics and my playlists, BUT, whn I hit enter, the addon shows the message "loading" and after some seconds, shows "one or more itens failed, check the log for more info about this message"

Following your situation, for me works the other way , from the context menu I select "play with" and select VideoPlayer , if I use PAPlayer , I get the error I mentioned in my last post .

Hello, I am attempting to use this with Release 17 Alpha 2 but am getting an error. I can log in and everything and see my playlist, etc. But when I go to open a playlist, or to a point where it should list the songs I get an error. Hi,

Spotify Connect is not bundled in the official library provided by Spotify.
So i think it's not possible.

A possible alternative is to develop a kodi's plugin which use this unofficial lib : https://github.com/plietar/librespot
But i dont have the skills to make this.

Not yet possible to select the bitrate, if needed/wanted I can add it to the settings
