OSMC Update
From Ashes Summer 2016 Update Delayed Until OSMC Update
The update causing Raspberry-Pi's to crash when using
Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes has been
Resolved. The update will be released on Sunday and we will release From Ashes' Summer 2016 Update shortly thereafter.
If you want to run AZ:FA on a Raspberry Pi with OSMC you MUST upgrade to the latest OSMC version. We will let you know when it's released or you can follow OSMC's site for more details.
Here's a preview
(note how From Ashes is indicating an unreleased version of OSMC):
We will notify other distributions that had this problem (LibreELEC and OpenELEC) but at the moment AZ:FA only officially supports the OSMC Distribution.

Before the switch to emby, my discart was displayed on the osd when playing an album but now it doesn't. I was missing quite a few before which was one of the main reasons I started using emby, to better manage my metadata. I've looked through the skin settings and emby but I can't see anything that would stop discart from being displayed, am I missing anything?

While I only use Emby for TV Shows and Movies rather than Audio (that's what iTunes and iCloud is for but to be fair I get most of my content from iTunes for TV and Movies too), one thing I can think to try is to go to "Configure Emby Server" form the Emby Server icon in your taskbar (if running Emby Server on the same system) and login to the Emby Server Admin page. Go to metadata manager and see if it acquired all the metadata for your music. There are several other options available for audio that you might need to take a look at.
On the Kodi and skin side, you may have to change the menu to tell it to use the "Emby" audio library. This is done from Skin Settings and manage the Home Screen. Just change what the button does when you click it. Emby options will have the Emby icon and then it will present you with a list of "All," recent, and other options to that affect. Select "All. and you should be good to go. Alternatively, make sure Emby downloads the NFO require for Kodi to naively read the metadata.
You can hop on over to
emby.media and ask the community for further assistance. They are pretty great at helping out.

Firstly let me start by saying that this is a great looking skin and the developers of this mod have obviously done a lot of great work to get it looking so great !
I'm having a few random issues - i just installed in to jarvis 16.1 but for some reason when i try and create a widget for a menu item it just says none and doesnt give me the option to select the path to where i want the widget pulled from ? It allows me to select a path via side bar menu {where it says select custom widget path} and this then shows up in widgets menu under settings but doesn't let me select it in any way ! Can someone give me a brief explanation of how to set up widgets for this skin to get me started it would be much appreciated
many thanks
Widgets still run on the old Isengard code rather than the Jarvis code. This might not be corrected after I announced that full development effort is moving from Jarvis to Krypton (obviously it'll work in Krypton). It's been a known issue since the release. If someone wants to take on fixing Widgets for Jarvis they can; just be sure to submit it to GitHub so I can credit you.

In Jarvis:
BUG #1: Main 'Highlight Color' seems to default orange (when you click default and when the skin is first initialized); however, once you go to main it defaults to a color as shown in first post. You can continue to press 'Defaults' and you'll see the color. Two colors seem to be mentioned in the code.
BUG #2: In 'Skin Settings' Home tab allows you to go from top to bottom - then to top if you continued to press down; however, every other tab does not have that capability. You can however, go bottom to top - then bottom if you continued to go up.
Don't worry, we're getting that fixed. I had it running stable on Krypton a few days ago but a lot of things are in motion and as I did say, 4.2.20 does not have the latest updates from local (if you go to GitHub and look at how far ahead 3.2.20 is you'll see what I mean).
For your bugs:
Bug #1: Settings -> Appearance -> Colors -> Dark with Light Dialogs. To further customize the color after those changes simply go back a screen and go to "Skin Settings." You'll find the 4th Generation Color Enhancer there and will be able to make the skin look pretty much however you want.
Bug #1A: @
minus0 - If you are reading this, feel free to fix it if you like but remember that we are depreciating Jarvis to "Long Term Support" (only bugfixes) where "Dark with Light Dialogs" "Main High Color" won't change to its default when you press "Default" and will revert to the turquoise once you're back on the main menu. I've observed this on Mac, Windows, and Linux (ARM).
Bug #2: It'll be addressed as part of the Danvers releases which are for Krypton.
