I recently purchased an apple dev account and updated the ios app signer to 1.8.1. I've been able to sideload Kodi with a free account without any issues but now that my account is paid, I keep getting the following errors when signing the app.

Can you assis me please? I have no issues in the member center nor in my Keychain.

i have created a IOS distibution certficiate and a IOS distribution (adhoc) provision profile, and choose this combination in IOS APP SIGNER works

I'm having the same problem too, but its saying invalid provisioning profile. I'm also on Sierra, using tvOS beta, and tried with both beta Xcode and regular. I think I'll wait for the next updates and try again unless anyone has some suggestions.

Hi mate, the problem I'm having is that the iOS app signer is not picking up my profiles, but Dan mentioned earlier in the thread that sierra handles profiles differently so like you, I'm going to wait for Tempe next update and see what changes.

Xcode creates the profiles fine, I think it's something to do with the iOS app signer the way it interrogates the profiles in sierra.

I've just had a thought that you can do this process manually so I may give that a go see where it fails

I figured out a solution. I installed a VM for El Capitan, and followed the instructions from there. Works great!

That is because apple has reduced the length the free signing cert is valid for from 90 days to 7 days.

See earlier in this and may other threads in the forum for details on this. The only way around this is to purchase a dev account from apple which a lot of us are doing now.


This works a treat, each cert lasts for 1 year and you get loads of other benefits too - you may even be able to make your money back and then some by developing an app yourself.

ahhh gotcha. hmm will have to bite the bullet and do that as well.

App signer still don't work with macOS beta 2, A temporary fix has been developed via GitHub.
Version 1.8.1 - only for macOS beta users

Waiting for dan to release the full fixed version.

You are not using your new paid account certificate you are using your free one.
