Would it be possible to capture these too?

This version will work with the play to, I just tested

Yes I can confirm it works. THANKS Smile

So instead of a meaningfull title and picture, we just get a code
I don't seem to have this problem. In both my Kodi Player and Last Played v1.0.9 I get the correct title and picture. Maybe this is OS related? Im sending from Chrome on Windows to Kodi 16.1

Yes, definitely looking forward to the blacklist! Nod

THANKS again @rodrigl

PS: Im also using the "Store list in a custom path" feature as I have multiple Kodi devices all on my home network.

The addon was listing what was played in Last Played LOL

You know that this one of the things that gave more work, avoid that when replaying from last played that would show again. Smile

And I dont think that part is perfect yet

I did a couple of simple tests, and it seem to work. Would you be able to send me your variables.xml?

Or running the latest version with debug enabled, and sending me the log?

I'll test it with krypton, which I have not yet. In theory should work, I,m doing everythinh thru kodi apis so it should be ok.
The problem might be my repo. I'm still coming to grips to using it.

I'm doing big changes now to the 5-star site, so I expect that be be unstable to say the least. Should be ok in one or two weeks.
One of the things I want to do, is to be able to download anything from my play history.

So I can watch in kodi, and if I liked it I can go to the site to download and keep it.

And I have another addon the 5star-movies, that was supposed to synch with themoviedb. And hence the tmdb user.
I am thinking of just synching with the 5star site, and I having my own users. Not sure what is best

Thanks for the feedback!

I have exactly the same setup. And that is why the custom path was born, it's handy for multiple kodis.

But to me playTo kodi, seemed irregular, only sent the title once. Anyway, if it works, dont touch it Smile

Since you mentioned the problem about Play to Kodi, I will try to check it each time to see if it is stable on my side.

I really like this app. It is very useful. Thanks man.

Is there anyway you could add a function to add my YouTube screename or something to the addon and it also keep up with my YouTube history, so I could see what videos I viewed on my PC from YouTube on the app aswell?

Also, is there anyway you could add an option to add videos you didn't complete to the list, so that I can watch 30 seconds of a 5 minute video and it still be added to my history?

You asked this question in the YouTube thread, and it was already explained more than once. Last Played can't do this either because it requires the YouTube API, and the history part of this API became broken with the latest update by Google.

Is it a know issue that some entries have the date/time listed twice? For example, I played a video a few times and I see several entries for it (perhaps there should be an option to only show the latest?) and some of them show the date/time part twice. Note the video was played as a file and there are no libraries being used. On version 1.0.9 on Jarvis/android.

@rodrigl

With regard to partially played items I was wondering if it would be possible to have Last Played show the standard kodi triangle icon (like you see in this thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=241951) in the cases where a Resume point exists?

I tested this situation with YouTube videos, and if I use the contetxt menu and choose "Play with plugin.video.youtube" then I am given the option to Resume playing, however there is no way to know when looking at the Last Played list that a Resume point exists, and just clicking Play seems to ignore the Resume point.

I guess another way to look at this would be to always (or have the default be) to use the relevant plugin to play the video, however I'm not sure if that makes sense from a technical or best practice method?

In any case, it would be good if it was somehow 'impossible' to miss that a Resume point exists when trying to play a video.

Additionally having the standard Kodi icon would be useful to just easily see which videos you didn't finish watching when looking at the list.

What are your thoughts? THANKS Smile

EDIT: hmmm, now I notice that this issue also seems relevant to which addon the stream originated from. YouTube doesn't show the Resume point immediately within the Last Played list, but some others do (but still without any standard Kodi icon as an indicator).

Forgive me if this has already been discussed but how is this add-on any different to configuring smart playlists for 'in progress tv shows' and 'in progress movies'?

http://kodi.wiki/view/Smart_playlists

As I understand it this addon adds some additional features, but a major point from the wiki is:

"Kodi supports smart playlists for all types of media (excluding pictures), which essentially use a set of rules to limit the results from the databases. This means that to be able to create a smart playlist in the GUI, music/video must first be added to the libraries using a scraper addon"

This means that smart playlists will not work for streaming videos, eg: from the more than 300 streaming video addons listed here (good example is YouTube): http://addons.kodi.tv/category/video/

NB: To clarify, Last Played is also not limited to videos, so for example I use the GoogleMusic addon because I keep all my music in the cloud, and tracks played via this addon also appear in Last Played
