Me too!
Why are you telling everyone to update to a beta version of Kodi? SPMC, the Android spin-off, wouldn't be released until after the final v17 of Kodi.

@mdh99, @rajones007, @quixote23:
The option to turn off the From Ashes (Dormer) notice will be released in the "Last Call" update (3.4.20). We understand that there are distributions that aren't Kodi 17 Krypton ready but the reality is that continuing to support Jarvis is stretching development too thin so we are marking From Ashes (Dormer) as "End of Life."
However, we aside from final fixes and requests for the "Last Call" update to AZ:FA Dormer, we don't want people expecting new features and further support on Kodi Jarvis after the update.
It's just a simple reality really. I still use Kodi 16.1 on OSMC but the majority of users are running Krypton now and based on those statistics it just makes sense for better development. Why fix and add items from the 2017 model car to the 2016 model car is a simple analogy to what we are doing here.
I know that sucks, I will admit it too, but there comes a time to call it and the statistics of downloads show that Krypton and AZ:FA adoption has surpassed Kodi 16.1 and AZ:FA by over two fold.
AZ:FA Danvers Beta 5 is going to be released tomorrow for Kodi Krypton. I know that doesn't help you all but development has to move forward, not backwards. I am certain you all understand this.

I understand. I sincerely appreciate all your fine work.
When do you plan on releasing the "last call" update? If you say anything more than a couple days, then, ummmm, I don't know what I'll do.
I personally am using an add-on that simply won't work on Krypton, and it never will because it hasn't been updated in years - Pseudo TV 2.4. I use it, my kids use it, my wife uses it, and it works wonderfully as it is. It hasn't been updated since I-don't-know-when. It just works. It's minimal and sleek, just like AZ. But it won't work on Krypton for some reason. (And before anyone says it - the new Pseudo TV Live is terrible. It's unrelated to this topic, so I won't explain in detail. But I will say that using Pseudo TV Live is simply not an option.)
So I'm stuck with Jarvis for the foreseeable future. At least until the makers of PseudoTV Live become aware of the KISS method and release a stripped down and stable version of their add-on.
