I say Nay, to its way more elegant without too much stuff, stays true to the original skin's mood.
By the way, the patches that are being released are for krypton too?Would it be possible to list em all? Thanks for the great work.

Me too!

Why are you telling everyone to update to a beta version of Kodi? SPMC, the Android spin-off, wouldn't be released until after the final v17 of Kodi.

@mdh99, @rajones007, @quixote23:

The option to turn off the From Ashes (Dormer) notice will be released in the "Last Call" update (3.4.20). We understand that there are distributions that aren't Kodi 17 Krypton ready but the reality is that continuing to support Jarvis is stretching development too thin so we are marking From Ashes (Dormer) as "End of Life."

However, we aside from final fixes and requests for the "Last Call" update to AZ:FA Dormer, we don't want people expecting new features and further support on Kodi Jarvis after the update.

It's just a simple reality really. I still use Kodi 16.1 on OSMC but the majority of users are running Krypton now and based on those statistics it just makes sense for better development. Why fix and add items from the 2017 model car to the 2016 model car is a simple analogy to what we are doing here.

I know that sucks, I will admit it too, but there comes a time to call it and the statistics of downloads show that Krypton and AZ:FA adoption has surpassed Kodi 16.1 and AZ:FA by over two fold.

AZ:FA Danvers Beta 5 is going to be released tomorrow for Kodi Krypton. I know that doesn't help you all but development has to move forward, not backwards. I am certain you all understand this.

Emby Preview Update - 2.3.9

ATTENTION: The Emby Preview Updates provided in the NortheBridge by Design Repository are done so as a service until official support is provided to Kodi 17 by the Emby Kodi Plugin team. The update is provided "as is" ONLY.

In preparation for the release of Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes (Danvers Preview Beta 5), we have updated the available Emby Plugin for Kodi to the latest preview which was released on November 7, 2016.

Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes (Danvers Preview Beta 5) will release tomorrow.

Team, I am hoping this is a temporary bug but I am running SPMC with Jarvis and I rebooted my AFTV this morning and I get the message about Danvers and then AZFA never loads (meaning Kodi shows a black screen and locks up). I am all for updates to software but SPMC hasn't released a Kodi 17 version. All was good yesterday and I am hoping I don't have to uninstall and reload all my settings?

**Update - I was able to resolve this issue by clearing the app data in the AFTV settings and reloading my settings.

My 2 cents for future release: 1)option to include furniture like imdb, metacritic rottentomatoes in the same page, something like this http://s22.postimg.org/cgqm53fv5/screenshot001.png.
2)Option to make every color transparent.
3)More hubs!
thanks again.

I understand. I sincerely appreciate all your fine work.

When do you plan on releasing the "last call" update? If you say anything more than a couple days, then, ummmm, I don't know what I'll do.

I personally am using an add-on that simply won't work on Krypton, and it never will because it hasn't been updated in years - Pseudo TV 2.4. I use it, my kids use it, my wife uses it, and it works wonderfully as it is. It hasn't been updated since I-don't-know-when. It just works. It's minimal and sleek, just like AZ. But it won't work on Krypton for some reason. (And before anyone says it - the new Pseudo TV Live is terrible. It's unrelated to this topic, so I won't explain in detail. But I will say that using Pseudo TV Live is simply not an option.)

So I'm stuck with Jarvis for the foreseeable future. At least until the makers of PseudoTV Live become aware of the KISS method and release a stripped down and stable version of their add-on.

I imagine a week or two. However, 3.2.42 will be released today that will move the Danvers notification to the "Power" menu as a selectable item: "Get AZ:FA Danvers Update!" This is because of the reported bug with SPMC not being able to progress beyond the Dormer End of Life Notification.

Concurrently, for folks running Krypton, Beta 5 comes out today and should be on all your devices by tonight/tomorrow. We thank you all for waiting so long (it's been a month without updates).

Please note that there is a known bug in Kodi Krypton Beta 5 that is being investigated where skins aren't updating properly. Hopefully you all won't encounter this.

Sorry everyone, my garage doors are being reframed so I didn't have the time to release the releases that were supposed to be released today. Here's the updated schedule:

Dormer 3.2.42 - Friday, November 9, 2016 (Unless "Last Call Update" is completed; then 3.4.20 will be released officially bringing Dormer to End of Life)
Danvers 4.9.91 Beta 5 - Saturday, November 10, 2016 with push to Update Origin. Released to Emby Beta Repo on Sunday, November 11, 2016.

Sorry for the delay but house issues do come first. Progress is being made on the AZ:FA site; I'm hoping to have it updated with the Dormer and Danvers release notes as well as the lifecycle policy tomorrow.
