I have always had both options selected and never gave me a problem. I will do some testing, but I believe that if I unselect that option it will create 2 or 3 nfo files per movie. I also have the Harry Potter collection, so I will check what it does
As I mentioned in prior posts, version 3.6.6.4 did not have this behavior
