Thanks for the awesome work on this skin! I think I have just about everything setup the way I want. I did have a couple questions that I think may fall more under customization but since I’m new to all this I am not really sure how to proceed. Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

First, I am trying to see if it is possible to have different images on these two screens. They both seem to be applying the poster image however I was wondering how to maybe alter an XML file setting to use thumb.jpg for the smaller one. My goal is to have the Blu-ray cover on the RightList view and have the poster.jpg in the Show Information view. Is this possible?

Second, is there a way to separate the Movies and TV Shows video settings? Specifically, my goal is to have Movies open with the default select action: Show Information, while TV Show would have default select action: Play.

I installed this great skin because I need vertical home menu. It works fine on Kodi v17.
However, I have a strange issue. When I want to configure the home menu item there is no enable/disable option for the items. It is present in standard Aeon Nox but missing in this skin. Did I miss something?

Select the item you wish to enable/disable.

Press the "Context" button (usually the "C" key)

You will now see options to enable/delete/add, etc.

I know about the Super Favourites Addon which would fulfill my needs. But this is way too heavy and powerful for what I want to accomplish:
I'd just like to have a second list with addons (besides the Kodi favourites list) which I can set as a home menu widget.
For sure there is a way by manually creating some xml files containing links to the needed addons or something like this?

Small question, do you have a list of changes or new features? Maybe on github, but I'm sorry I don't know how to work with that.

Also, for people who have problems with updates: if your screen looks weird after a skin update (i.e. no backgrounds, black menus, empty widgets), swap to confluence, and then back to nox Silvo. Things restore just fine after that, no big deal.

It is jarvis version...whren i play pause no one clearart is shown....

I removed the clearart on pause awhile ago. I re-added it on GitHub for Jarvis and above.

Soo....if i understand well now with the last update ...when i play pause ....in the screen should any clear art appear or not ?¿?...
Because it don´t work for me...when i play pause i don´t see any image about the film i am currently watching ...


It is nothing important but makes to the skin anytime you can watch a film a smart image..


Thanks for your hard work...your skin looks cool!!!...and for my android tv it is the only modded skin not so heavy...i mean it works very good and quick ...not like aeon madnox..

If Super Favourites (which isn't maintained anymore anyway) is too heavy for you, how about Simple Favourites?

If you want to go down the road of editing the xml files then that's doable too. Within includes.xml (or if Nox 5 Silvo has a specific widgets-includes file then that), create yourself a new include with Static List Content (wiki) - though don't include the <content /> tags the example on that page shows. Then tell Skin Shortcuts about your new widget in the shortcuts/overrides.xml file - set the path to $INCLUDE[the-name-of-your-new-include].

You can then choose it through the normal widget selection, and Skin Shortcuts will take care of including it in the list when it's building the templates.

You'll loose it every time you update the skin, though, so backup your changes if you decide to go down this (more complex than using what's turning into a great script) route.

the 5.8.7-3.0.7 update is not working well

It crashes every time on android devices. I have loaded my build on to 3 different android boxes with kodi 16.1 installed my wizard and even cleaned all the widgets..

Once it loads with your new update and a clean install of kodi. the create menu starts to open and then sometimes hit up to 50% and then crashes.. i have tried numerous restarts and reinstalls and nothing seems to work...

completely wiped kodi in appdata,, restarted and installed aeon nox 5 SILVO 5.8.7-3.0.7 ,, added super favororites and the food network app from the kodi official repository.. added the food network to the sub menu of videos.. then added the a couple of shows to the favorites and then added that to a widget.. all working great on windows..

when I installed this build on my S912 box , 2gb ram. android 6.0 it crashes.. added it to a clean mxq pro android 5.1.1 same thing..

so there is a problem with your skin on android.

Is there anyway to auto theme the skin (wallpapers)? and not one by one?
In the Aeon MQ Skins, theres a way to load a complete set of wallpapers in the skin settings - Can it be done at Silvo too?
