I have issue with CEC, currently have #0131 installed.

For me CEC works on initial boot/reboot of rpi2, but once TV goes into sleep mode and/or tv is switched off I am unable to wake up with TV remote via CEC and CEC does not work once TV switched on or is woken from its sleep mode with remote.
With others already posting reports is it still useful to provide specific debug details?

There is a tweak to CEC cleanup 13 that will be in tonight's build.
There have been a few different symptoms reported, so I'm not sure it will be a complete fix, but hopefully will resolve some user's issues.

So test with tonight's build. To ensure consistent results I'd recommend powering off the TV from the mains for a minute after updating the build and before testing.

If you still have problems with tonight's build then logs would be useful. Add to config.txt

Then do whatever it that provokes unwanted behaviour (e.g. TV powers on unwantedly) and grab another log.

I am continuing to have the problem: using iptv simple client, the channels are not loading in the estuary skin.

Any idea how to go back to confluence and avoid its automatic removal / error on startup?

I suppose Confluence is only compatible with Kodi 17 for now, due to the GUI API breakage. So no easy fix, unless you manually edit skin.confluence/addon.xml and bump the xbmc.gui version to 5.13.0.

Can you provide more details of the problem with iptv simple client and Estuary, maybe a screenshot? Perhaps then it will be clear if it's a skin issue or add-on issue.

From log I see rtmp://edge71.stream.highwebmedia.com/live-edge fails to open. It fails with vlc too.
Are you sure the stream is currently valid?

Still have the "NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000" with my 'Technotrend TT Connect S2-3650-CI' pctv452e since the very first linux 4.9 release.
I have reported it to: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=192881 (full dmesg is in the above link) but i'm quite unsure if someone looks into this ...

Have you tried a 4.10 kernel build? It probably will have the same issue, but is worth trying in case something additional has been fixed.

@popcornmix tried #0124x kernel 4.10.0-rc5 and the driver loads correctly! BUT tvheadend server doesn't work anymore trying to investigate further

tried #0130x kernel 4.10.0-rc6 the driver loads now correctly AND tvheadend works! BUT it looks like my lnbf22.c patch is not included into this build

Are you sure, using the reverted cleanup 13 of your zipfile will produce the same CEC / firmware conditions than in build #0117 (last working one for me before broken CEC starting with build #0124)?
I couldn't find any description on how to properly apply the files from the zipfile, so I am sorry if this might be a dumb beginner's way:

- I update libreelec using a recent tar, let's say #0201 or #0131
- I notice, CEC is not working for me

Because I don't know if I could replace the firmware from running system, I try to apply the modification as follows:

- I shutdown -h my raspberry pi3
- I remove sdcard and insert it into my laptop (running linux mint)
- I unzip the files from your zipfile to the sdcard's boot partition as target, so bootcode.bin, fixup.dat and all the other files from boot partition will be overwritten with those from the zip.
- I restart my raspberry pi

Wrong way?

If this is the right way, than I don't understand why neither any build newer than #0117 has working CEC for me from beginning nor does replacing the firmware files with those of your zip help.
While on the other hand everytime I use build #0117 CEC works like a charm.

I now tried many things
- from (looong) powering off TV and AVR from mains after any changes
- over completely new libreelec image on formatted sdcard (and then updating to recent testbuild)
- up to completely unplugging my raspberry pi3 from AVR HDMI in and plugging directly into my TV's HDMI in (so there is no more AVR HDMI passthrough)

Always the same issue: As soon as I power off / standby my TV, CEC connection is lost until I reboot libreelec and reselect CEC on my TV's menu.

I don't provide logfiles, because I don't know if the way I am applying the "old" firmware is valid.

Yes, that should work(*). Technically you only need to overwrite the files that already exist, so just bootcode.bin, start.elf and fixup.dat are enough but what you've done is good enough.

(*) This assumes a direct LibreELEC build. This won't work with NOOBS.

The lnbp22.c patch is part of the media_build package which isn't included in these 4.10-rcX builds as there's too much conflict with the new kernel.

The reason for asking you to test #0124x/#0130x is precisely because these builds do not have the media_build package. Based on your results it would appear that the media_build package is causing some sort of conflict with your Technotrend adapter/driver.

Once 4.10.0 is released. At that point we'll need to see what shape the media_build package is in - by then hopefully it will have been rebased on 4.10.0.

If the media_build package is still not compatible with the new kernel then, as a short term measure, the media_build package can be dropped until it is updated.

@popcornmix Sorry that it took me so long to do, what you suggested. I have been out of home and after I came back I first used a fresh libreelec image without any applied backups, etc. to ensure there cannot exist any things which I myself have installed corrupting CEC for me.

Okay, so I will use firmware_050e503b.zip.
You provided a link to another zipfile some days ago, named firmware_revert13.zip and filesizes between both zipfiles don't exactly match, that's why I'm telling you which zipfile I am using.

For comparison, this is from #0117 as is, which has working CEC for me:
