Hi Guilouz!

Just saw an issue with volume indicator: all parts are placed exactly the same

Image

Seems like the black circle is misplaced (or is it the red part)
Moanbag is in da place!

Yes, that was a mistake. It's fixed, new version 2.1.2 available on repo.

I still think it would be cool to have the rating visible with the List & WideList in the movie section.

I know I can sort by rating, but then I lose the alphabetical order.

Would it be possible to implement an order like in the TV Shows section with visible rating?

Image

There you have a correct (meaning from first to last episode) order but can still see the rating of each episode.

This with alphabetical sorting in the movie section would be a dream!

Why asking for something that is already there?

Rating at the bottom of the poster in both view...
Moanbag is in da place!
Because I would really like it the way it was handled in for example Confluence, where you had the rating visible for all movies.

I tend to select movies by rating and therefore the rating visible at all times would be way more convenient than just for the one currently selected.

If it's still not clear, I mean some like this:

Movie A .................... 7.8 / 2012
Movie B .................... 6.0 / 2016
Movie C .................... 8.5 / 2014
.
.
.

Make sense, didn't see it like this

Now you will have to wait an answer from Guilouz

I will just say that I'm not sur that it is possible to display year and rating at the same time

A bit of history :
More then a year ago my HD was seeking files every time I was moving through my movies list.

Then I discovered the texturecache utility from Milhouse.
As soon as I used it my disk was not even spinning-up until a movie was started.
Ouf ! My HD does make a lot of noise when seeking files.
I also noticed the response time in Kodi was slower before texturecache.

My concern :
I have installed MOD2 few weeks ago and it was all great.

My disk now seeks files when I'm moving through my list. Texturecache is telling me that all arts are cached.
For a test I changed the skin back to Estuary and my disk stopped.

The animated gifs are not enable, so I'm concern.
What are those files that MOD2 need ? Obviously not cached.
How is it possible ?

I might be mistaken but the directory .actors in my newest movies doesn't exist, where are those files now ?
Is this related to my cache problem ?

tk's

UPDATE :
My setup is the view : Viewtype :List
no background
no animations
clear logo are changing at each movies
Posters are changing
Flags are changing.
I do not see anything else...

Not really understand your problem. Only textures are cached.

well,

What are those files that MOD2 need when browsing my library so that it read them over and over again ?
If arts files are cache there is no need to access my HD.

I can do that if you want. Show rating when rating is enable in skin settings, same for user rating and disable when no rating enable :

When you access to a folder in a computer, hard disk is working to load files. With Kodi it's the same when you open your library, your hard drive is working to load all files. By files, I heard medias files not textures.
