Skin Shortcuts - Add to menu is not the right addon, that one is a context menu addon. It should appear in the repo as just "Skin Shortcuts".

Oh, okay. Can you tell me how to get to Skin Shortcuts? Thank you!!

I got Skin Shortcuts installed. Thanks! Still no luck though. I uploaded a log file. It shows several errors towards the end. Log file is here: https://paste.ubuntu.com/24204853/.

Can someone please take a look and offer some advice? Thank you!!

You installed the skin in the wrong location. You placed it in the Kodi main installation directory.

You can't write the menu because you need UAC elevation (admin rights) to write files in the program files folders. Which is why you need to accept the system changes with that popup when installing things on Windows.

Thank you MikeSiLVO! I will try again. What is the proper directory?
Based on your log details you should put it in:
Code:
C:\Users\elee1\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons

Sorry if this has been asked before, I am just playing around with my set up and was wondering is there any difference between the folders with similar names in the extras folder

i.e Color Studios and Colorstudios

I don't have duplicate folders, just i.e. color studios.

I can't seem to get Aeon Madnox working on Krypton at all. If I try to install from zip, my screen turns black and then won't come back to any interface until I hit back on the remote. Then the interface comes back with all black backgrounds and I can't click on anything, have to kill the Kodi process to end the application and when I load up Kodi again, it's back to the original skin I had. If I just unzip the folder to the Kodi addons folder [C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\skin.aeon.madnox\] Aeon Madnox does not show up as an option for a skin I can choose. I downloaded the skin from here https://github.com/mikesilvo164/skin.aeo...ee/krypton. I am on the Krypton 17.1 RC of Kodi for Windows 10. Any suggestions?

You should unzip the folder to the Kodi addons folder. Then, go to Settings, Addons, My Addons, All, and look for Aeon MadNox. You then have to Enable it so that it shows up as a skin you can switch to.

Bart

I had an issue getting the skin to work when I changed to Kyrpton, that might explain why I have the additional folders. It is no biggie but thanks for checking for me
