Hey guys, im completely new to Kodi ...

When i started to play with Kodi (17.6) on my Fire TV, i want to install the eurosport player.
i try to flash all of them as .zip

i installed kodinerds.repository and got message "Addon Updated"
i installed pyDes 2.0.1 and got message "PyDes Updated"

but when i try to install eurosportplayer.2.0.5 i got "depency on inputstream.adaptive 2.0.18"

when i go to my addons -> input stream, i have version 2.0.19 installed

So how can i use this plugin?

From the Kodi home screen, select Addons -> My Addons.
Scroll down and click on Videoplayer InputStream.
Make sure that both InputStream Adaptive and RTMP Input are enabled. (click on each and click on enable if it's not)


About my problem with strech i finally found : We need to open streaming and then on the bottom click on Settings, select video settings then we can change the view mode in Strech and set it by default. All works now perfectly

Hi @JinJin  Thanks for your work. I recently got problems with the EurosportPlayer and DAZN addon using the latest Kodi 18 Nightly for my NvidiaShield.

For the Eurosportplayer throws "DeviceId not found". I tried reinstalling it and reentered the credentials with no success.

For the DAZN Addon it does not start without any special error message in Kodi and just says check the log

Hello,

I'm on android TV and trying to install Eurosport player's kodi plugins. I can't because i have a dependancy problem. It request inputstream-adaptive 2.0.18 but kodi's inputstream-adaptive version is 2.0.19. So it's impossible to install eurosport's plugin !!!

So, do you know a way to get 2.0.18's version of inputstream-adaptive or, if it's not possible, wich version of kodi / android TV ?

Thanks for the plugin! I was about to return my Fire TV stick as useless if I can't use Eurosport Player on it. Then I saw Kodi works on Fire and installed it pretty easy. Trying some old version of plugins from the repos didn't work but then I found this topic and installed the latest version which is working.

I still have 2 questions:

- One is for the resolution, is 980x540 the maximum Eurosport provide? It looks fine on tablet and phone but on the TV not so good. I guess Eurosport do not provide better resolution.

- I can't change language of the audio stream, only English works. When I change to other language I can't hear anything although I see the list with available audio streams.

Hi,
max resolution offered by eurosport is 1280x720. Go to Videoplayer in the addon settings and open videoplayer settings. There you are able to force higher bitrates/resolutions.
Switching audio tracks is only working with kodi 18.

By addon settings i mean the eurosport player settings. There is a Videoplayer category where you can directly open the inputstream adpative (videoplayer) settings.

OK, got it, thanks! Changed the inputstream adaptive settings to be 1080p and now it loads 1280 stream, looks better.

I hope Eurosport will provide 1080p stream somewhere in the future. For the audio I'm not sure I can install Kodi 18 on Fire TV stick. English is fine for the moment, will look at that later.

Hi. I cant change the quality and I still have SD. Kodi version 17.6, addon version 2.0.5. On settings I have only View with 3 options that dont change the quality. Please help.
