You mean CDN preference? No. That's what I was talking about 3 or 4 posts up...I submitted a pull request to put it back in.

If anyone wants a working version of the add-on with it back in and I'm not stepping on any toes, I can post the one I'm using with my changes in there...

Thank you so much!  This is working for me now.  I have found that this year using "best available" is working better than selecting a specific speed anyway.  I just set the internet usage setting to what I would like my stream to be.  This way if the best the network is going to give me is a low bitrate stream, I get that instead of buffering.

if someone can tell me where to upload it i'll post it...i have two versions, one for spmc and one for kodi.  both have the CDN selection working...which is a godsend, level3 streams for me are practically unusable but akamai is much better.  still not perfect, but way better than the level3 streams.

 That's not how it works.

If you choose best available you get the highest bitrate stream, regardless of your internet connection.

 That's not how it works.

If you choose best available you get the highest bitrate stream, regardless of your internet connection. 

 If I go, system/Internet Access/Internet Connection Bandwidth Limitation/ and set that to 2560kbps I get a 30fps stream.  If I turn that off, I get a 60fps stream, but have no bandwidth left for other users in the house and sometimes buffering.

 Ok I have a fix for using with Kodi Jarvis 16.1. 

   First you need to d/l the spmc file matty8199 posted, post #1,085. Then download the python file I'm posting.  http://www.filedropper.com/python_3

    After you have both files downloaded unzip the python file and copy and paste the python folder into your "Kodi" Jarvis folder, located under "program files (x86), paste it in the "system folder" replacing the python folder already in there and overwrite "all".  Then open kodi jarvis and install the mlb.tv spmc zip file from matty8199 and everything should work, it is for me anyways.

Plugin was working fine last year, but I have been having issues so far this year. But played around with it, and found some stuff so figured I would post how I fixed my problems.

1. Was using a VPN to connect to Canada to stream games that were blacked out in my area. This worked last year, but this year was getting an error (either stream failed, or I would see a Blackout message). Changed the VPN from Canada to Miami, and poof, this fixed that issue.

2. Using the "Best Available" resulted in very choppy screens (I'm on a 300Mb down, 30Mb up connection). Setting the "Prompting for a Speed setting" and selecting 1200 (when it comes up to select a speed), fixed this issue as well.

So now everything is back to normal again.

 Alternate audio stream is available again for live games and no buffering so far an hour into a game.

Edit: Spoke too soon on the buffering. I guess there is really nothing you can do about that though.

Don't see PC's, or Android TV's listed. Perhaps they can interpret what device you have (that the stream is going to), and either allow or deny the 60fps.
