 Yes I got it sorted. It's not quite what I wanted though.

The idea is a good one but Ideally I would like it to sit on my vps and generate the same Plugin strm links as used in the addon. Using embycon to get meta for the strms and then passing to the gdrive addon for selection of quality etc. This is how I was using makkonens python strm maker.

A few issues I found with the current html5 way.
I was getting multiple links supplied when browsing my local library due to it generating multiple quality srtm files. And making it look messy.
Also I noticed whatever quality srtm I clicked they were all of very low quality. All very pixelated, like watching 360p on a large screen TV.
The streams seemed to start slower also, Not sure if I was streaming via the vps or the link passes direct to googledrive?

Yes I can do this and it works well for me, unfortunately my sibbling has a much lower bandwidth than me and needs the choice of lower resolution/quality.

I managed to get the streams playing correctly now. I am finding...
TV shows don't get an appended .quality like movies do. Is this an error my end?
When auto marking of the TV stream watched only one does so I have to mark the others watched manually. Is this on the todo list or is it my error again?

Emby doesn't do the dropdown for quality for TV shows yet.
The auto marking should work for all.

In the addon  what does Generate/Save TV Movie strm do different as opposed to save strm ? 

Also I am creating strm from the addon on my Kodi seyt up on my pc. I am remoting into my box to transfer the newky created strm . After transferring thestrm they are not showing up on a new scan. Anything else I can try?

If Emby can add Google drive within Kodi and solve the strm issue, i would switch .

 No, it is still being maintained but the updates need to be test thoroughly before pushing out and breaking playback for users.

Current version is 0.8.64 in gdrive-testing.

thanks,  i installed testing version for team drive, but i have trouble to login correctly.

When i open gdrive testing, says to visit dmd.... and select google app, so  i get oauth2 code with google app, i select login type dmdsoft.... but no luck

I tried aso to get oauth2 code with dmdsoft, then select dmdsoft in kodi login type but same story, where i'm wrong ?

( and also i didn't find option: drive as source, in testing plugin can't possible have it? )

You can also copy your settings.xml from gdrive to gdrive-testing to avoid needing to re-enroll.

Otherwise you can enroll using this:

Use the [enroll account]  and when the dialog pops up advising you to navigate to the device (IP:8011/enroll), then from another device such as PC, navigate to the URL and complete the enrollment.
