Following all the hard work on gitHub thread, thank you very much guys!
Latest release works almost fine, it also fix a problem I had when trying to play some particular tv shows where only audio used to works while screen was black and flickering.
I just can't get more than 720 resolution, where with previous releases everything was played on 1080.
Shouldn't be InputStream Adaptive related because it works regularly with other addon (i.e. Amazon VOD). My setup is Leia v18 rc1 Win7.1.
Am I missing some setting?

On Libreelec (linux) Chrome OS is downloaded to install libwidevine (1.9GB!). Will it extract libwidevine from the image and delete the download or will it take up 1.9GB after install?

Sorry, but i'm not one of the developers, you should ask in the topic in GitHub and i'm sure that you will get the help you need.

Not working, same error Sad
This release will work for you with the subtitles

Thank you for your kindness, but this and the other one aren't working too...  When i first intall the addon i can login to netflix and browse the library, "only" the videos doesn't start. But when i start again Kodi, i can't log on Netflix either. Widevine Cryptosession errors. I watched the addon dependencies, as i see the script.pycryptodome not installed. Is that the problem? How could i install on android?

I'm not sure why you could not play the videos, many with android devices the plugin works for them, you could try asking here.

Hey Essam, I just downloaded and installed msl2.zip from github and videos are playing back again

Is MSLV2.zip better? Where is it on github? I can't really find my way around there that easily.

Shall I just download from that link you just posted or stay as I am on msl2.zip?

I just tried it now, and it works great too.

What are the differences?

What is the best way to learn about using github? I'm fine wandering round the comments to learn what's going on with the devs, but anything other than that I'm pretty lost

The link i have posted is the same as the one here

https://github.com/asciidisco/plugin.vid.../tree/msl2

I just renamed the file for the sake of making it easier to download.

In the right side of the screen press on "Clone or download" and press on "Download Zip", and you will get the last updated file.

You could read the commits here to know what is new.

It was working for me fine Essam315. I'm at this weird place where I still love my crt television but also can't get back to regular tv... This is one of the few sdtv devices whichll play Netflix.

Like anyone I am very grateful for the support provided here, however this thread is a little difficult to follow on first look.

So, apologies for the basic questions.

Is the Netflix addon currently working on Kodi for Rpi?

If so, is there a particular version of Kodi v18 required or will the latest nightly work?

Is there any configuration required once the addon is installed?

Problem is I can login to Netflix ok, but nothing plays. It just drops back to the last screen.

Cheers

It consists of two .py files which go into .kodi/addons/plugin.video.netflix/resources/lib. I tried the workaround just now and after copying those two files and rebooting it's working fine (i.e. I can watch videos again). I'm using netflix plugin version 0.13.19 on Kodi 18 nightly.
This work for me. Coreelec 8.95.5.
Thank you!!!!

Hey, I was as clueless a few days ago so I will answer it.

It is currently working on a recent Millhouse build of Kodi18 on my Raspberry Pi 3 B+.

The addon should install dependant stuff automatically.

Install the zipfile Essam315 posted. It worked for me. Netflix changed some stuff internally so the older builds stopped working. But Essam's latest version he posted here now works for me.

The latest one from the msl2 branch or the one above (mega link) works for me with latest libreelec 8.90.008 / Kodi 18 RC1 on a Raspberry 3B+ even with subtitles but max 1280 x 720.
Trying to figure out how to show only the subtitles for mexican speech in germany when watching Narcos instead of showing them permanently.
If anyone's got an idea...
