v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
First, hello

Second, could anyone help me? I'm having annoying problems with the most current versions. Whenever I upgrade from 8.2.5 to any trial version 9.0, I simply can not use anything else that involves the internet, even though I'm connected.

Without a log, nobody can help. Upload the output of journalctl -a and post the link.

Describe your setup - is it RPi0, RPi1, RPi2, RPi3, RPi3+? WiFi or wired ethernet? Static IP or DHCP?

Chances are it's a problem with your network. Try enabling "Wait for network" if you RPi is slow to get an IP address. If you're using a USB dongle for connectivity, maybe it's a firmware issue (journalctl output will help).
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

I in case I use the RPi3. This started when I switched my broadband provider. All my devices just went crazy, but I went to my router and reconfigured and everything went back to normal. But Kodi / LibreELEC continues to bug, and in the stable / old version it works relatively well. Already upgrading to trial version, 9.0, it starts to give error after another. Another thing. I tested the OSMC and it worked perfectly well without any error.

Try disabling IPv6 support in your new broadband router.

@Milhouse
Just wondering, do you recommend to generally disable IPv6 Support on RPi and Broadband Router?

There may be some unwanted IPv6/iptables interaction, which is being investigated.

Editing the connection and disabling IPv6 is probably the first thing to try (Settings > LibreELEC > Connections > (edit connection) > IPv6 -> Off)

But if that doesn't work, then disable IPv6 in the router, and see if that helps.

Disabling IPv6 is only a short-term solution, as we should be able to support IPv6 eventually.

@uMarcello can you try disabling IPv6 support in the LibreELEC Settings add-on first, as that's likely to be the easiest solution for now.

Unfortunately my modem does not support IPv6. As I said, OSMC and other OS work perfectly. Only LibreELEC has this problem.

UPDATE:
Just look here and I noticed that IPv6 is disabled.

Ok, then try disabling IPv6 support for the connection in the LibreELEC Settings add-on.

The problem is already there. Only IPv4 with fixed IP is active. I looked the error deeper and he said something with "certificate".

The certificate error is caused by a wrong system date - the logs showed your system is still back in june (which is before the begin of the certificate validity date).

The cause of the wrong system date is NTP failing - it's trying to get the current date from a bunch of NTP servers with IPv6 IPs which all fail.

Also check the NTP server section in LE settings - if all NTP server entries are blank the default servers are used which should work.

so long,

Hias

Currently have an android box (905x) and have used Libreelec and Kodi. Everything works with the exception of Blu-ray Iso menu. With Kodi 18, I understand that under windows, Blu-ray iso works showing the menu as it has java.

I was reading on the Libreelec forum that the Raspberry Pi using Libreelec also shows proper Blu-ray menu including BR-J. I am happy to buy a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ if it does both DVD and Blu-ray iso and shows full menu. Looking for some advice whether that is the case.

Thanks
