Washed Colours problem
#1
Hello,

I am using KODI Latest Stable on windows 10 using GTX 1070 hooked up to a OLED panel 4H HDR.

When I play a 4k HDR directly using the TV media player, everything is ok.

When I play it using my PC hooked up with HDMI, the colours looked faded away. Is there a fix for this ? Is it my graphic card, kodi or windows ?

Why not use a different media player (VLC, MPC-HC...) to find out, whether it’s Kodi or something else?

Then it’s obviously not caused by Kodi. Find a forum with your graphics card manufacturer’s drivers discussion.

Your test only confirmed that Kodi isn’t the (in worst case only but probably not at all) reason why your HDR doesn’t work. Get HDR working with other programs and you can be sure your computer is configured properly. Until then your problem is out of the scope of this forum.
