hi, I've got a question regarding different types of subtitles:
Is it possible to set both:
regular subtitles for foreign-language content such as Ingobernable (Mexican TV Show)
AND
forced subtitles for (example) English-language content with bits of foreign-language like Narcos, Heroes, etc. ...
at the same time?
Thanks a lot !

No no. That's not what I'm talking about.
Let's say I have have the following titles in my library and watch them back to back:
1) El Ministerio del Tiempo: SPANISH
2) Heroes: ENGLISH AND PARTLY JAPANESE
3) some English-speaking show/movie
Now for someone who speaks and understands English AND WATCHES CONTENT always in original language, what makes sense?
1) should constantly show subtitles.
2) only forced subtitles should appear, translating the Japanese into English.
3) same as 2). Only forced subtitles should appear. But since there is no foreign-language, no subtitles appear at all.
So I don't want to manually select anything. Settings should take care of this.
Is this possible?

actually, come to think of it, I think I know where the problem lies:
There should be two entries for subtitles under Settings / Player:
1) language of subtitles.
2) forced or default
that's currently not the case, right?

ok, forget the last one. That won't work either. I will write in the devs section and ask for help. I think I know what the real problem is now.
