how do i get the actual Aspect Ratio of a movie playing?

I Have tried:
Player.Process(VideoDAR)
VideoPlayer.VideoAspect

both return 1.78 for a movie that is 2.40

If they're part of the video file then that's why it's showing as 1.78.
