Do I need an API key for TMDB in order to see ratings from TMDB?  Reading the first post in this thread, it seems that's only for OMDB, but I have no ratings from TMDB showing in my library.

Would it be possible to get references to YouTube for our movies and shows?, other than the already available movie trailers. Like when clicking on Avengers Endgame, our info screen links to video's from Looper and Screen Rant for more background information? This then could link to the latest video entries of selected uploaders about the specific movie.

I can only do whatever the youtube addon can do - if you can search a specific channel in the YouTube addon then it might be possible. I can't remember if you can only browse channels in YouTube addon or if you can also search in a specific channel.

The other approach might be to include the channel name in the search query - but I imagine that would get a lot of false hits
Arctic Fuse 2 - Alpha now available. Support me on Ko-fi.

You need an API key for TMDB to display there ratings.
OMDB API key is used to get rottentomatoes, metacritic and in my case IMDB.
But I don't know if IMDB is by design. In some widgets IMDB ratings are shown without any API key.
How do I get the Movie Genre Icons to install? I only see the 'drama' icon.

Anyone else seeing this behavior?  The first click to play always does nothing, second click works fine.

Excellent, thanks. I'll set up an API key for TMDB in that case Smile

I think this might be to do with settings for auto-highlighting next season / episode, etc.

I have noticed that since I switched those options on, when entering a TV show there is nothing highlighted.  I have to press OK once to highlight the episode, then OK again to actually play it.

Hey there, great job on this skin, it's for sure the best I've used so far.

I have two questions:

1.  Is there a way to activate a "show more" option if limiting the widget scroll?  For instance, if I set a limit to say 10, but have 20 movies in a certain widget, there isn't a way that I've found to see the rest of the content.

2. Perhaps (likely) im doing something wrong, but, I can't seem to get the horizon icon pack to work.

Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hi, love this skin,so clean and it's fast coming from Estuary mod V2.... One request though, maybe it's a setting that I'm overlooking.
In Estuary Mod V2, in square album view, pressing to the right gave you a alphabet menu which was a fast way to go to a certain album/artist.
Would be a nice feature in a large music library.
Will the Next Aired widget have matching skin colors?

It's an adaptive search done entirely with library paths (so no need for global search).
Just like globalsearch, it will search for: movies; tvshows; episodes; artists; albums.
HOWEVER, it will also search for movies and tvshows in: genre; studio; year; by actor; by director.
It will also provide a list of youtube videos matching the search term.
So, for instance, if you want to find action movies, you just type "Action" as the search term. If you want to find movies from 1999, you just type "1999".

Any update on this function

Thanks
It's not extended info - it's just info from library. I stopped using extended info from osd as it causes issues on some systems.

I'm interested to know what content is failing the search.

If you open info from library and then click on one of the "similar" movies, does the info dialog open properly with the new movie?

I'm using the same method to open info from osd as I do for library movies in the info dialog. So I wonder if I might need to use a different match pattern for from the player.

Sorry I forgot to mention it's from the TV Shows menu. If I click from the library it works fine. but doesn't work if I'm watching a tv show if I click info

Info works fine with movies but still pauses if I uncheck pause video when opening info

How did you manage to create the above genre view?

I am trying to recreate this view.
I assume you used the 'custom widget' method described on the first page of this topic.

However when I follow those steps, my genre view looks the one in the screenshot below:
  • The section on the top left is Genres instead of Movies (or Speelfilms in Dutch)
  • The title in the top middle is Explore instead of Genres
  • The genre tiles have no icon and genre name below them, instead only the genre name in the tile

Hope you can help!
Cheers from NL.
Add custom action:

ActivateWindow(1132)

been at it for hours trying to figure this out myself and i can't seem to get it working.  Not quite sure what im doing wrong
