Arctic: Zephyr 2

For doco/shows that use "YYYYxEP" for numbering, it overlaps the icons for new/inprogress/watched.
Effects views "List", "Media Info" and "Media Info 2".

Can you try 0.9.36 and confirm that it is now fixed?

Recently bought a vero 4k+ (linux) and noticed a couple of things:

1) if you select to use poster for blurring purposes, in poster showcase view it will use the poster instead of fanart for background.

2) I can't get the ratings to show up using skinhelper

thanks
1. Isn't that what's supposed to happen? Or is this with the option to blur only on info dialog? There's a similar bug on basic home with those options that I need to fix, so it's probably related.

2. Can't really offer much other than follow the instructions in first post - SH works fine for me.
I hope this helps...

In background settings - check on fanart, blur background, only blur info dialog, prefer poster image for blur

With these options selected, I get poster as my background instead of fanart when I scroll through my movies

Have you had a chance to look into this?

Thanks

I've fixed the issue with basic home showing posters when this option is enabled, but I can't seem to fix the issue with onlyinfo blur option enabled. For some reason kodi is ignoring my checks for whether the info dialog is visible in the image variable. Without being able to check if the info dialog is visible, the best I can do is disable the blur poster option if the only info flag is set.

Excellent.

Haha, yeah I was working on something for PVR list in that file and the fix for this was pretty simple so I just chucked it in with the rest.

@jurialmunkey, Absolutely stunning skin. This should be made the official skin for Kodi. Being using the Arctic Zephyr 1 on SPMC for long time, but didn't want to come onto Leia, once the SPMC was dropped out cos Arctic Zephyr wasn't available. But after bit of googgling stumbled upon here. Heaven. Thanks for your hard work. Keep it up👍👍👍👍

I agree.
@drinfernoo will you update the repo with the latest releases?

On the Info Wall view with movies, it does not show any rating.
It's the screen with on the left hand 8 movies posters, right top the fanart and bottom right the title, run time and plot.
I do have the additional config for the rottentomatoes and IMDb score which does show in other views.
Would it be possible to add it?
@jurialmunkey would it be possible to take a look at this?

A visual feedback would be nice to know whether Kodi received the signal. It could be right in the center of the screen or one of the upper corners.

Another thing, when you are in the detailed info screen of a currently running or previous programme could you add an option to restart this programme. This restart feature is supported by Zattoo for example.

Is there another skin with this feature for restarting the show? I've never encountered it before so I dont know how it's implemented.
Indeed there is. Beatmasterrs' Arctic Zephyr - Leia Mod has this feature included. I think you can find it in the includes.xml under "DialogPvrInfoNavigationNew".
Installed AZ2 today, customised it to my liking and I most say this is one hell of a skin it runs so smooth and snappy even with lots of widgets on the Odroid N2 and looks beautiful, thumbs up for all the latest codec flags.
Only thing a noticed so far is ALAC codec is missing in the OSD.
Very pleased keep up the good work @jurialmunkey
@jurialmunkey Is this possible to recreate the collection info view from the AZ Plus mod. See this post: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2857264

Also, I like these views from Andromeda:

Works with banners and cd covers too

This overview of the actors is nice too

Would something like these fit in your design philosophy?

Yeah, I will get them up today Smile Sorry, been a bit busy over the last couple days.

EDIT: Done Smile
@jurialmunkey
Currently if you try to adjust subtitle offset the OSD info bar will block the subtitles so you can't see them.

Keep up the good work!
Such a beautiful skin @jurialmunkey - really appreciate your work on this.
As a long time pvr user, one issue you’ve solved for me - in the osd at least - is the duplication of programme synopsis within the programme title field, an unfortunate side effect of using OTA grabbers with the current stable version of tvheadend. Thank you! I’m hoping it’s possible to carry the separation of the two fields over into the main pvr guide.
Also, are you planning to offer an option to substitute the information section - currently always displayed on the right of the osd - with the upcoming programme instead?
Taking this one step further, is it technically possible to scroll through upcoming programmes on a particular channel via the osd (a la sky) and press ‘i’ on upcoming programmes to display programme information? If so, I’d love to see this happen, requiring the user to manually select programme information as and when needed, rather than always being on display (which is a nice idea but slightly detracts from the aesthetic in my opinion).

A random request...could lists in local media (e.g media info 2) start scrolling from the middle rather than the bottom, allowing my eyes to remain in the middle of the screen (for the majority of the time) when scrolling through my library.

Thanks again for the amazing work, and hope this is useful feedback regardless of whether you choose to implement any of this.
