thanks
Continue to use the official 9.2 Alpha build (currently 9.1.002) for RPi4 - the RPi2 builds won't work on RPi4.
Sorry for commenting off topic, but is it possible to update 9.1.001 to 9.1.002?
(2019-08-13, 19:23)mcelliott Wrote: Sorry for commenting off topic, but is it possible to update 9.1.001 to 9.1.002?

Yes, just copy the 9.1.002 tar or img.gz file into the Update folder (and reboot). I think 9.1.001 should also update to 9.1.002 if you've enabled auto-updating.

I don't know what has changed since I last updated a couple of weeks ago, but the interface of the current nightly is soo smooth. Netflix is loading fast, starting videos and skipping forward and backward is much faster now. Awesome!

I don't think anything changed which would significantly alter the GUI performance.... if it is something in this build that has changed then bisecting the builds from the last few weeks should identify the first build when the improvement started.

Is Pi4 branch / build the same as the Pi2? (It's all the same Raspberry Pi build?)
How goes progress, I believe the Pi4 4k isn't working great with 265 yet?

No Pi 4 nightly builds yet. You’ll have to wait!
I have a habit of using libreelec settings update option to check for and install updates.  This morning although #0817 not mentioned yet in thread as an available build it was available via update option.  I selected #0817 for install "running build #0814 at time I think" once installed device entered into lazy kodi re-boot loop every couple of minutes before entering kodi safe mode.  Example kodi crashlog

For info, fully entering into Kodi safe mode then restarting libreelec did not appear to create any /storage/.kodi.FAILED folder.  I stopped kodi "systemctl stop kodi" popped #0816 into update folder over network, rebooted rpi and everything is as normal and OK.  That will teach me to check for nightly build update notes before applying an update.

Yes sorry about that, I had a late night out last night, and busy today with family - can also see my own local systems are all stuck in a slow crash loop, they start OK (hence why the builds were published last night) but then crash shortly afterwards. I'll remove them for now to prevent further installs. Not sure if I'll find the time to identify the breaking PR for another few hours.

https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/16448 seems to be the problem, will revert it in tonight's build (if not already fixed).
