v19 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 19.0)
All Releases of the RPI and RPI2 Images aren't downloadable. Why?!
http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/master/?C=M&O=D
RPi3 | RPi4 | LibreElec Kodi
What was the last reliable test build with pretty much everything working? Just asking so I can have a fallback in case the newer versions become to unstable.
Anyone having problems with current builds, please read post #509 !

L.E. it seems I can access the settings remote using Chorus, but still ... Smile

As @Aux says, look at POST #509!

The LibreELEC Settings add-on will be back tonight in build #1104.

Build #1012, although that will become increasingly "broken" (from an add-on perspective) as Kodi 19 addons are updated with Python3-only support.

If you want a rock solid reliable build, then I guess anything based on Kodi 18 is your only option right now - you will need to remove any Kodi-19 add-ons that support only Python3 (downgrade those add-ons to the Kodi 18 versions with Python2-only or Python2/Python3 support).
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Thank you very much for the development work and for bringing back the LibreELEC settings addon so soon.

Unfortunately, this build (#1104), even with the new firmware and Linux kernel, will still not boot with the PAL analog out setting in config.txt, on a RPi3B. I have logs.zip files of one successful boot with default settings (but 480p 60Hz on a PAL TV) and of one failed boot with sdtv_mode=2, both with debug mode on.

It stopped working back in the 9.1.502 build available on the LibreELEC website. Should I go back to 9.1.502 for further troubleshooting? Going to the bleeding edge didn't solve it, and the LibreELEC pages says, quite rightly, about nightlies: "Do not expect stability. Do not expect any sympathy or assistance from developers if something goes wrong".

If you want to look into it, these are the pastebins:
sdtv_mode=2 in config.txt; behaviour: LibreELEC splash screen shown, no KODI splash screen kodi.log 01_KODI_CRASH 02_system
default settings; works as normal (in 480i) kodi.log 01_KODI_CRASH is the same (*)  02_system    (* and pastebin won't let me upload it...)

If I shouldn't mention this again until I can confirm if Raspbian also has this problem, as popcornmix has asked for here (thread 348205), I'll get another SD card. Again, thank you for your time.

If you are able to reproduce the issue with Raspbian it will significantly increase the chances of a speedy fix. The RPi developers (mainly @popcornmix) will do their best to support LibreELEC but reproducing an issue on Raspbian means there will be more eyes on the issue.

Unfortunately, Raspbian works fine. With the "sdtv_mode=2" uncommented on /boot/config.txt, Raspbian Buster just loaded into the Desktop Environment without a hitch and the television mode is 576i 50Hz.

The fix for the composite PAL output works! Thank you, and thank you too to @popcornmix for the quick work with the firmware fix! But it took your build #1106 to really fix it, just putting the new firmware on the current 9.1.502 or your previous #1104 fixed the boot on PAL but had other issues.

Well, it seems like I'm on this branch for the long haul... (thankfully the two most important addons, YouTube and SVT Play, are still working). I'll try to update every change I get to keep testing, but this Kodi is not used very often.

Again, thank you.

The updated firmware with composite fix should be in the next LibreELEC 9.2/Kodi 18.5 release (mid-November-ish).

Very good news! Meanwhile, @popcornmix noticed I needed a different firmware, and uploading that second set of firmware files to the boot (/flash, or FAT32) partition of LibreELEC 9.1.502 works well on my Raspberry Pi 3B, so for any one that has that problem and doesn't want to wait, follow the instructions from this post onwards.
