Thanks for your previous response you had to my questions. I have came across a few more I wanted to ask!
1. On the very first page of this post/forum, (Your introduction) Where it says "Recently added & Recently played" how did you make it to be a dark grey colour? Mine is a light grey by default and when I hover it, it goes dark grey. I would like it to be dark grey like yours all the time.
2. I have a widget on my movies panel that shows "Trending movies" I set the aspect/view to landscape I believe. How do I get the logos of the movie on the images/landscape thumbnails? I have seen people screenshot it before on here – but I wasn't sure how to get it.
3. When I hover a movie/tv show, how do I get the codex info to show up in the bottom right hand corner? I know it shows if you view "Information" on the movie, but I have seen someone else that has posted with it showing up in the bottom corner when they are hovering a movie for example.
4. This might not be possible because I'm on a shield, but....Is their a quicker way to view the "Information" on a tv show/movie. Cause right now – I hover the film and hold the centre button on my remote for like 2 seconds and scroll down and click information. Can we click like a directional button or something to view the information on the film?
Thank you for your time answering my questions!
1. Which part are you referring to? If you mean the light vs. dark themes, they can be changed from
Code:
Settings -> Interface Settings -> Skin -> Colours
2. As long as your content has clearlogos, they should show up. If you want landscape (moviethumb and tvthumb on Fanart.tv) artwork instead of fanart, you can turn that in skin-wide from
Code:
Settings -> Skin Settings -> Library -> Landscape art
3. That one is at
Code:
Settings -> Skin Settings -> Furniture -> Codec flags
4. No, unfortunately. In PC versions, the default key is 'I', so if you could map that to a button it would work, though. Problem is, for you, myself, and many others, that while many third-party remotes have either programmable buttons or a dedicated info button, the Shield remote doesn't have any mappable buttons at all. Luckily the new Shield does have quite a few more buttons on its remote, so it's possible that may improve this experience for Shield users into the future.
Regarding 1, 2, and 3, just take a look in the settings. There's all kinds of neat stuff in there
