Double checked and it's definitely re-downloading the same videos. It also says afterwards 'You have download settings to Stream Only. Change your settings if you would like to download videos'.

Alright well do you think i should take it offline until i get time to work on it again. I hate to have something out here and not be able to support it but at this time I have to much going on to true work on it as i should.

@Hitcher how di you manage to set a download folder in the plugin? I would like to download, waiting for streaming to work.

Add a location in the file manager first then select that folder in the addon.

For now yes.
Just to let everyone know that is using this, I am currently doing a rewrite. just like with a paper this is like a rough draft some things I think i can clean up and i may break a few things no promises. But there seems to be enough interest that i will take the extra time to try to polish it out and get these features added. no promises on a time line just know that i am working on it in my spare time and i will make this my priority until it complete.

@smitchell6879 - If you're doing a re-write please consider maintaining the movie names as they are from apple rather than renaming them to the hash. This way, other applications can potentially share them. Thanks.

The list you see is how they are named from apple. I made the list directly from their server, they are using "ID" which is the "hash" you see. The verbiage you see with clean names come from somewhere else and is not directly related to each video. It may seem trivial but each id has a max of 5 current videos qualities and those videos history may have 2 revisions or more revisions. I have to go through that list and try to get the newest for each quality and combine duplicates. So I will be glad to use the nominal name for each movie if you can find a list that will identify each name to the video id from apple. For now the video name will remain as the "ID" as I am using this to identify the video to the correct metadata.

Also those of you using "Power saving mode" to turn off your display. Since other are having issues I will be putting a setting in the addon itself that way everyone will have access to it and if needed i will just black the screen.
That said do you still want me to use Kodi builtin power saving or preferable will you be fine with just adjusting the screen saver settings to enable it? I will still send the same display shutoff commands but instead of getting the setting from kodi I will get it from the addon only!

Thanks. Some of the short names I had left out before but added back this time just to make sure I got "every" video so I may have to remove them later as they may turn out to be duplicates. Time will tell.
Also I have added the Power Savings Mode directly in the addon settings. The way it works is it will try 2 builtin methods first and then when all else fail it will go to a blank black screen as you requested. Once the screen is blank if you make any movement it will pop up with directions on how to exit the Power Saving Mode.
So far I feel like the re write is alot cleaner on the code side at least. And the settings I have separated and organized a lot better.
