No, you can only set it manually in the "details 2" panel of each episode

connect both to trakt.tv and it should work (I cannot guarantee since I do not use trakt.tv)

Hello!

I had hoped Kodi would somehow add that information to the / an info file and then TMM could take it from that file when updating data sources or scraping the same file again.

So Kodi and TMM. And trakt.tv stores that information and all the movie data of one's movies / series and other data, I assume.
