You could probably set one up via a smart playlist using a Random/Party Mode function.

@jurialmunkey, I was also going to suggest a "shuffle" feature for TMDbHelper, which could be added to AH windows. Is that even doable?

Thanks for the explanation. I don't want to disagree with you because you obviously know more than me here but I am definitely using the same widget between the 2 skins. Library://video/tvshows/Inprogressshows.xml but they are showing different results. See screenshots below.

There is no option for next episode in the episode widgets either. There's an in progress but that shows episodes that I've started to watch but not finished.

AZ2 widget (no episode images because its not plugged into my library) - you can see it's showing the next episode

The way it is working for you in AH is how it is supposed to work.
That is just a link to "Videos > TVShows > In-Progress" folder which displays in-progress tvshows and when you click them it opens the season. The exact same behaviour is in the same widget that is available by default in Estuary, and if you navigate to that section of the library you will also see that it behaves that way.

Whatever you have set in A22 is not that link. If it is, then it is due to an issue with your setup, not the skin. In that screenshot you are showing something with a different setup -- you say it's not "plugged in" to your library, whatever that means... but if you don't have a library then in-progress node won't work because it relies on library data about watched progress.

I tested with that widget in both AZ2 and AH. For me, there is no difference in behaviour:

"Shuffle Play" as it's become known (from other add-ons), can be used to automatically create a random playlist of episodes. Basically, if you "shuffle" a show, you get a random playlist of episodes from the show, and if you "shuffle" a season, you get random episodes from that season.

It lets you quick jump to TMDbHelper lists based upon the currently selected item -- it's the same list as when clicking the "Similar" button.

Are in picture trailers working at this stage? When I watch a trailer it creates a small window to the right of the movie poster but the trailer plays in full screen behind it?

Edit: if I go back in and try again it does play in the small window. Seems the first time I try to play it plays full screen.

What platform? Android?

Might be the issue on Android where only one videowindow can be drawn.

EDIT: Can you test latest (v0.1.40) and see if it fixes the issue with trailers?

1) will there be a PVR preview video ((picture-in-picture) ( or similar to the trailer preview))?
2) Will there be an option to use a custom startup picture or video?
3) Will there be an option to hide the time and weather at the top right?
4) finally kiosk mode
5) a full dark mode
