No there is only a vertical main menu.
The side menu closes when you focus the widgets though.

I'm setting up Artic: Zephyr 2 to look like the Artic Horizon with the view I like but it's not the same. I'm going to see if I can get used to one or the other, it's not that important either.

Hi, great skin, coming from AZ2, but this is even better!! I have a small issue though, I'm missing the trailer button, how can I get it back? Have the YouTube add-on installed with my own API keys, trailers are enabled in the metadata scraper ...

If the item has a trailer the trailer button is shown, simple as that...

Multiple reasons.
1. It allows for having buttons to interact with content, making it easier for new users.
2. It provides a consistent interface
3. It ensures that screen elements are always located in the same areas of the screen.
4. It means I don't have to maintain features/views that I don't even use.
5. It allows me to focus on other features rather than fixing viewtype transitions.
6. It allows me to have greater integration because I don't need to worry about all the different permutations of viewtypes.

Probably the name or year in the library doesn't match what is on themoviedb, or you are using different language settings.

That would be very strange if I am honest.. I have several movies in my library, some are recognized as local and some are not.

At the start not 1 movie was recognized by TMDbhelper, however suddenly a couple of movies were recognized as local, so I am not sure if there is any background services going on and not finished?

Why would it be strange? It is very common for different regions to have different release dates or for different languages/regions to have different titles for the same movie. If the region/language in your scraper doesn't match the region/language in TMDbHelper, then not all items will match. Also, if your scraper uses information from a source other than TMDb, then it is also possible that source has different details.

There is no background process. When the TMDBHelper plugin creates a list, it calls Kodi JSONRPC to retrieve the dbid, title, year, and default id of all items in the library. It then looks through the list of default IDs for an ID that matches the IMDb ID listed on TMDb for that item. If it can't find that, then it looks through the list of titles for a match, then it looks through those matching titles for one with a matching year (it needs to match year because otherwise you would get Robocop 2014 when the item listed is Robocop 1987).

If a match is found, the Kodi DBID for that item is returned. The DBID is then added to the item's ListItem.DBID field. In the skin, any item from a plugin that has a DBID is assumed to be a library item and so the library indicator is displayed.

Is it possible to have a submenu, lets say Movies, and use different kind of Hub widgets for the Movies submenu?

So basically the home view now, but with addition to show the Showcase hub at all times.

Also, I don't know why you would have a long delay in one skin and not the other. It is probably just a coincidence as skins don't do any lookups of data - a skin is just a frontend interface, all the data lookups and serving of data is done on the backend e.g. by the pvr backened, addons, and kodi itself.

After looking into it a little more yesterday, it appears that it is the initial search that is delayed, no matter the skin (tried five that semi-work with Matrix). After that initial search, regardless the skin, searches are near instantaneous as long as Kodi remains open. As you surmised, it must be a Kodi/Matrix deal (or most likely the way I'm running addons written for Leia on Matrix). I'm using Win10 and NextPVR on the main HTPC, BTW.

Clearly not a skin issue; sorry for the distraction. I'll try to be a bit more thorough with my observations in the future. 

By "Find Next" do you mean "Find Similar"? I don't know why you are only get date/time in the top info. It doesn't look like that with me in even my simple tvheadend setup:

Yes, I did mean "Find Similar" not "Find Next"; I've been spending too much time in Note Pad, apparently  .

I will fire up the Linux machine later today (hopefully) and reinstall Leia; I was running TVHeadend on that. I'm curious to see what other differences, if any, there are. A lot of others here seem to be running that configuration, including you. I'll let you know.

Hey Jurial, question about TV shows. It seems when browsing my TV Shows with the view that shows the episodes and the seasons buttons at top. Why is it that theres no context options available on the episodes so I can mark them as watched with Trakt? I noticed I have to click the season above first before the context menu is accessible. thanks a lot. Already found it out. I changed xbmcplugin.setContent(int(sys.argv[1]), 'movies') to xbmcplugin.setContent(int(sys.argv[1]), 'videos') and now it looks good. 😊

I have disabled posters and fanart from Info dialog lists in settings but in info screen these are still visible and loaded
