Submenu icons seems fixed at first sight, but it doesn't show up again once you change a default icon to another default icon, or to a custom icon

Sounds like a skin shortcuts issue. The skin displays ListItem.Icon in submenu popup if not empty, so if there's an Icon set it shows it.

I can't seem to get the new wall to work. The option is checked.. I have one widget set for the movie section in main menu but i dont see it.. What should I do?

It isn't for widgets, it's for media views.

New wall view can be used on second level navigation, no on widgets.
Go in movies for exemple, and press arrow down

now the showcase custom icons are too small compared to the default icons, this didn't happen before

In the main menu, profile circle who display profile icon seems to be less resolution than others elements.
Perhaps it was more beautiful to display just an icon like main menu ?

You can already.
Turn off "Skin Settings > Home > Show profile picture on main menu".
Select an icon in "Skin Settings > Home > Skin Logo"

I realy want to display profile icon (very useful), but without this low resolution circle.

What do you mean low resolution? How can I change the resolution of your profile image?
