PS: just to be annoying: Subtitles in Mediaelch? How or When? Cuz I havn't figured it out if it is there.
Hi,
this was implemented by the original MediaElch author. I have never used that feature which is why I can't even say how it was supposed to work.
My personal recommendation is to only use the generated NFOs.
I can dig into the synchronization stuff but as there are other bugs and features that need attention first, I can't decide on any timeline.
Regarding subtitles: What extensions do your subtitles have? :-)
MediaElch looks for e.g. ".sub" and lists them in "Streamdetails" tab for movies. There is no feature for downloading them, yet.

Andre
I am still figuring things out but have solved a couple of the things I was having problems with.
from what I could figure the kodi synch would send a message to kodi telling it to remove the "movie" that it was updating from the kodi library, then trigger a library update in kodi to re-enter the "Movie" with all of the new info in place.
As for working on it, as you say there are more important things to bug out. I am just having fun figuring out all the little things.
as for the sub files: *.srt is the most common one that i have found. But yes: I am hard of hearing so having the ability to download the subs from somewhere would be a greatly appreciated feature at least by me.
thanks for your time
