I could always pull up crew through a global context menu for those rare occasions. Thanks so much, Bart!(2021-05-11, 02:30)brviewer Wrote: Hello Bart,@brviewer, thank you for your kind words.
I'm a happy and grateful user of your lovely skin. I've noticed you've been very active with github updates and appear to be happy to take feedback on the forum.
There are two slight tweaks I think would be great.
1) Rating overlays like estuary (and night) skin has where you can get the review average at a glance without having to highligh the item first. (Image attached below.) If possible, it'd be really cool to see that on the homepage widgets too.
2) The real reason your skin is my favorite is the amazing format and details on the very attractive information page. It'd be nice to have the main info page load without calling up the cast so the page loads faster for times I want to just tap the play button. Definitely not a big deal but I love the skin so the best suggestions I can offer are little "tweaks" =)
Thanks
Both of your requests are doable. Please let me evaluate how to best incorporate a rating overlay. As for the second request, I can add an option to not show the cast, but it would have to be a global option, not something you can decide on a movie by movie basis. Would that be OK with you? Please let me know. Thanks.

Bart

If you disable the cast, the video info dialog displays immediately. Please be aware that you can get the same effect by choosing "Show Only local info" in the Video Info section of the skin settings. This has the effect of only showing info from your local library, and it also uses Kodi's default cast information, which usually is instantaneous in displaying.
Also, please be aware that the "Similar" custom info list also uses an addon, even to show local info, so this could potentially slow down the video info dialog, depending on how large your video library is.
Now a question for you: If you hide the cast, and have no other custom lists enabled, what info, if any, would you like to see below the row of buttons in the video info dialog? Please let me know. Thanks.
In terms of the rating overlay, I have envisioned how it would look. The changes will take a while, since they would affect almost every single viewtype.

Bart
