Hey all. I just installed the new Mi Box 3 update. I have a question regarding the HDR to SDR function. I have set it both to "Auto" as well as "On" and it doesn't seem to be working in Kodi. I am using the default video player and still when I try to watch an HDR video file, the colours are all washed out. Important to note that my TV does not support HDR (hence why I need the HDR to SDR function). It is a Vizio M65-C1. It is a 4K TV but does not do HDR at all.
Second question I have is whether it is possible to install MrMC as a player that I can watch my video files with by default? I have heard it is more optimized for low power devices such as the Mi Box 3. I have looked at the external players wiki page but am finding it a bit difficult to understand in the context of Android TV.
Thanks for the help all!

Does anyone else experience stuttering with 4k HDR movies? Like one every 5 minutes or so.

Hi!
Probably related question was asked, sorry than yet...
What is proper Kodi (Matrix) / Mi box S (fully updated) setup for getting 5.1 sound on relatively old Samsung 5.1 AVR connected via optical SPDIF?
Don't know if it is important but HDMI connected to cheap 1080p projector.
Thank you in advance!
