Was an easy fix.
The XML subs returns by HBO has some empty elements.
So just needed to removed any empty elements.

Its fixed in latest Slyguy common (0.38.1 https://github.com/matthuisman/slyguy.ad...c78bd34f67)

By the way - it seems HBO Max must be very popular in Brazil.
Seeing a lot of Brazil users.

Where is it working with other add-ons that use Inputstream Adaptive?

And your using passthrough right?

Also, inputstream adaptive may not always choose the Atmos representation
as both are in the same adaption set.

just pushed v0.3.9 that will remove the ec-3 stream if it finds an atmos stream so it's forced.
(if its enabled)

I haven't seen any other languages using atmos yet.

Atmos works fine with all your other addons where there’s content like Disney+, etc, as well as the Netflix addon, so it does indeed work. The Atmos track usually shows up as “English - English - DD+ - 16 channels [default, original]”, at least it does in the Disney+ addon. Watching Loki right now in DV/Atmos. There is a standard English DD+ 6 channel track without Atmos. The 16 channel track option is now missing in the HBO Max addon, pretty sure it was there before.

Well no - i was testing without passthrough and it cut off after 32s.

Maybe Inputstream isn't setting the right codec so kodi isn't trying to pass it through.
Hence why we get the same result as each other

I see Netflix sets the audio codec to "truehd"
Maybe thats all that is needed

Update:
actually - think I fixed it sort of by "accident".
I did some "magic" in my Slyguy Proxy to separate the ATMOS out into it's own adapation set separate from the standard EC3.

This way it shows separately to DD+ and I can add a label [Atmos] to identify it in the gui.
And after that - it seems to work good now!
So i suspect inputstream didn't like having the atmos and ec-3 representations in the same adaption set.

Also, did some more magic in the proxy, so Disney+ streams now show [Atmos] as well

Please try.

Hmm. Still not seeing Atmos as an option in either HBO Max or Disney+. Disney+ Atmos track still lists as DD+ 16 channels.

The proxy update is supposed to happen automatically, correct?

I am- ok, I see it now, Atmos works for WW 1984. No lost audio. 

Zack Snyder's Justice League doesn't have Atmos for me on the addon, although it does when I use the app.

ok, I see that movie has multiple edits. English and Spanish.
Looks like the add-on was getting the spanish edit which had less audio configs.
I have now fixed that with 0.4.2

Oh, and "My List" was added in version 0.4.1
Items can be added / removed via context menu

Can I update Inputstream adaptive back to the latest version or should I keep the experimental version?

if you want to play any 5.1 - you need experimental.
and that experimental will probably be some time before merge - needs quite a bit more work says the author
So if you get any new playback issues elsewhere - thats probably the cause
otherwise you can revert back

I am getting lots of dropouts with the Atmos tracks on HBO Max. The other tracks seem to be fine. I rebooted my shield, no difference.

Atmos works fine on the D+ addon.

Edit- Oddly I am not getting any dropout with the Atmos track on The Suicide Squad, yet with WW 1984 and ZS’ Justice League I am.
