I wiped all data and configuration settings and did the exact same thing I did before (like 3000 posted) and now it works! Very wierd. 
For some reason it defaults to German audio but with some tweaking in the Player language settings it's fixed. Hopefully it didn't break other content. We'll see

So this plugin is now officially broken and no longer supported? 
Cannot get any of the plugin version to play something anymore.

I too can no longer see anything, the add-on no longer reproduces anything

I solved ... clean installation of Kodi, now everything works there is only one small detail .. the video resolution is low, I can't see the videos even in HD

the majority (ok let's say many) of the people in the Kodi community (especially those with knowledge) are indeed toxic. I'm not one of them though. And I'm still waiting for a 'thank you'.

Hi,

I recently encoiuntered a problem with the Amazon VOD plugin. I am running Kodi 19.1 portable on Windows 10 in my home network. I get this error every time I try to go into the Amazon VOD plugin. After several tries I deleted the Addon and reinstalled. Now the login does not work anymore. Always throws up an error. I found this related entry in the logs:

My home network is protected by a linux firewall and web access (http/https) goes through Squid proxy software on this firewall.

I kindly ask if you could go the same route with the urllib3 component?

Hi team, 

Tried to run this addon today on my Raspberry Pi 2 running LibreElec Leia and its not recognising my login. Ive Prime Video in Australia and Ive played around with the various regions (also tried auto). Any thoughts on what it might be?

Notice: several users report a breakage with OSMC and some LibreElec installations after September 1st Widevine update. OSMC will be probably broken up to early 2022, while some report that simply upgrading Widevine didn't work, and they had to manually delete the Widevine CDM folder and then reinstall it through the addon via InputStream.Helper. Some claim it's necessary to also remove the addon itself temporarily, I cannot confirm that but I think it's not necessary.

I'll go back to blackout, I should hopefully be back in full in a couple weeks as things are settling down on my end (yay). Stay healthy and frosty!

@Thumbelina there seems to be something wrong with your setup/runtime. There's something weird interfering:

The port numbers should be the same, it seems like you have something that tries to proxy, or maybe somehow changes the port number for some reason. This is not normal, the port number has to be the same, and in the addon they are, so it must be some external factor. I wouldn't know what, though, this is the first time I see anything like this.

@Varstahl story of my life. I would have to have a unique issue. I'll try to track this down but I don't know what could be causing it. I tried to do as clean a setup as I could to narrow down what could be causing the problem.

@Thumbelina I didn't thought of mentioning it, but in the Addon settings there is an option to "Disable MPD Proxy". Some minor features will be unavailable, but if it works with the the option active, and the MPD Proxy disabled, then you can narrow down the issue.

I did another clean install and tried again. It looks like the same error. I don't know why there is a proxy. I didn't set it up. I haven't been able to find where it is set up either.
