I'll need a log... Thanks
Could you tell me where I can find this log file, or its name?
I couldn't find even reading some topics here.
It was really useful! thank you.
My log file:

My old log file:

I couldn't find the specific message/error that occurred, something about missing metadata from my files.
I appreciate your work, and I just wanna have my childhood TV again. I got all the files, my Digimon, my Dragonball Z, Pseudotv is perfect for that.
If I made some mistake about he log file, please correct me.

Anyone else having problems installing on Android tv box? Decided to do a clean install of kodi on my box and install the repo from GitHub and as soon as you click to install the pseudotv app it immediately kills Kodi and to the main Android screen. Even bought a new box since I thought it may be because my box is a few years old and running into the same issue....soon as you click to install it it kills Kodi.

This might sound like a strange question but what is the current version of PseudoTV Live! right now? I ask because I keep seeing there are all these updates and changes made in version 0.3.3 but I can never seem to get the version to bump past v.0.3.2f.Image

@Lunatixz I have just completed a clean Kodi install and I'm finding it impossible to install PTVL. Each time I select to install from the repo, Kodi crashes. I have also tried installing from zip and it hangs at the install process. Is anyone else having issues?

Edit: installation finally succeeded. Not sure what the hang up was, but I'm back in business

What did you do to get it to install. I've tried on 4 different Android boxes and Kodi crashes as soon as you go to install PseudoTv from the repository.

Yeah, something is still not right. On the system I finally got it installed on, many of the channels are complaining of a lack of duration, which was never an issue before.

To get it to install, I had to manually download the zip and install. When going this route, eventually it would complain about a dependency not found. Log files pointed me to the "fuzzywuzzy" script missing, so I manually installed that from the repo as well. Then I was able to get the install completed, but again having issues after the fact. I'll get a log posted here at some point.

Anybody have any tips for improving the buffering time in between channel switches. Right now I'm around 3-4 seconds to load a channel. Not bad but a faster channel switch would be cool. Just curious if anybody has noticed any improvements with settings changes.

Have the same issue as you described here. I've tried on Nvidia shield as well as a TiVo stream android tv box

I noticed something with "stacked" split video files (https://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_file...ideo_Files) when using PVR Callback as playback mode.

No matter what point of the movie it shows on EPG, the movie starts to play at the same point (sometime in the middle of it).

There's an expection for the first minutes (I gess the first file of the stack), when the elapsed time on movie playback matches the epg correctly.

It's not a big issue because those split videos are very rare nowadays and I don't know if there's something that could be done to adress this, but anyway...

Here are the logs with a sample library I created to replicate the issue: https://paste.kodi.tv/rirekejuho.kodi

Quoting isn't working in this forum for me for some reason, BUT mrdally204:
I have a ShieldTV, and the duration not found issues seems to be because Kodi hasn't built that information for your library yet. My library is on a small NAS, and what I had to do was go through the TV shows/movies and highlight them so Kodi would pull the playtime from them.
I don't remember the exact path but it's something like Titles > *TV Show* > All Seasons, and then just highlight all the episodes so it builds duration. Then PseudoTV Live would build the channels properly.

I have a lot of other problems with PseudoTV Live on my Shield TV though, like crashing when trying to access the "information" page, Kodi freezes when I try to add a new channel rule... Just overall instability.
I'm doing a clean install of Kodi atm, hoping that helps.

Kodi crashing during addon information/install is a Kodi bug unrelated to PseudoTV Live and is fixed in Kodi nightly builds.

Channel rules were not added (yet) to the current release, ie the button to access it is a dead end.

If you are encountering "...overall instability" care to share specifics?

Read PseudoTV Live's readme to shed light on "duration" issues.

This is a known issue... Kodi's PVR backend currently does not support "stacks", I'm working on a solution... THX
