I really want to get this one working tho. I really like the look! When I tried to install the skin from the repository it says something about the dependency could not be satisfied.

I'm using Nvidia Shield, Kodi v21.0.1

Any ideas what I need to do?
Thanks

See this.

I did see that video. I added the repository again. Either I added the wrong one, or it just needed to be updated. I got in installed this time.

Before I go any further with setup. Does this skin only work with local media. Or can you add media from other addons?

I know there is lots of extra setup you need to do first, but the first screen it asks to add videos and it just browses local
It works best with local media but you can add add-ons as well

I have a problem with the Video Player, if I use it with the Skin.

If I open a stream then I have regulary "skips". Partly it feels like a Lag where the Video jumps forward.

It apparently only happens if I open something in the Main Screen of the Skin. ie In "Home" or "Search" then the Stream is opened via tmdb und then the Player and this happens.
If I go directly to tmdb and open the same Stream, this does not happen.

I have seen this with nearly all Videos I have opened so far.

I would like to show you my Debug Log, but when I activate it, it never shows debug messages in the Log...

Hi

First off let me say how much I love this skin.  To me it is the best skin for Kodi.  It has been a while since I have used Kodi with this Skin as I have mostly been using Plex but decided to come back to Kodi.  I have the skin configured but I am running into an issue adding a shortcut to Genres for my home screen.  My server is based on Emmy and I have the plugin installed.  To add the shortcut I go to video library, Movies and I see Genres.  I click on it and it shows me all the Genres from my video library and I am able to create the shortcut on my home screen.  However, the problem I am having is that I installed a movie genre icon set that I would like to use which needs to take advantage of landscape view.  However, when I go into the Genres shortcut I created and try to change the view the only display options I get are all the general list views and panel views.  There is no option to use any of the Bingie Views or Landscape view.

When I previously had the older version of this skin when I was running Kodi 18/19, I was able to add genres and choose either a Bingie View or Landscape view.  Am I doing something wrong when adding Genres as a shortcut on my home screen?

Also, I entered in my omdb and tmdbs api key into Metadata and Artwork module but the only ratings I am able to get are from TMDB, Trakit and IMDb.  I don't seem to get any of the other ratings.  Which API key provides that info?

There's a video that shows you how to enter all your API keys. You'll also need to delete your cache as well so auto refresh.

The option to switch to other views will be on the next update

Hi AchillesPunks

Thanks for reply.  When you say delete your cache, is that delete the simple.db file using the Metadata and Artwork module?  Which post/page has the video that shows how to enter the API keys?

Out of curiosity, when will the next update be released?

Thanks

Hi AchillesPunks

I found the video that shows how to enter the api keys but the only place I can see to put api keys is the metadata and artwork module, is there somewhere else I need to put keys?  Also, do I only need the omdb api key and tmdbs api key to get all the ratings to work or do I need another key?

Can't wait for your new update to come out.

Is this how it's supposed to behave?

I go to settings - configure shortcuts - edit menu shortcuts.

I go to each category one by one and configure each widget in the specific category. On the right of the screen under widget content it lists them exactly how I have set them up.

Now I go back to the main menu and nothing has changed except all of those widgets I have added are all under HOME.

If I want to set it up how I actually wanted it I need to unlock widgets in hub, then go and add the widgets from the main page under each category.

This doesn't seem right. Do I need to reset something?

Not sure what you are trying to achieve or what you mean by each category.

I explained it badly. On the main screen, the left menu has different pages(or whatever you want to call it)
"home" "new & popular" "tv shows" "movies" "categories" "my list"

I want to add widgets to those pages. So I go to the skin settings, configure shortcuts, edit menu shortcuts.

In this settings menu it lists the same pages: "home" "new & popular" "tv shows" "movies" "categories" "my list"
I can move them,, rename then etc.

For each it also has a option where you can add widgets. I would think that if I want a widget to show up on the movies page, I can add it there and it will appear in movies page on the main screen.

However, if I add a widget under movies on the main page it appears under home only. If I add a widget under tv shows it only appears in home.

This doesn't make sense to me, I feel like something must be wrong.

Yeah, adding widgets to Home is different from adding to the hubs. You need to unlock widgets in hubs inside the TBM settings and then go to the main page and enter the hubs and add the widgets there and when you are done you go back to the settings and lock the widgets and enjoy your setup Smile

The each section on the left menu is a HUB.. Just do this to add to the Hubs.. You will need to be in whatever HUB you want to add widgets to.

Thanks for the reply.
Yup eventually I figured that out. I just thought it was a bug.
It might be a good idea to remove those extra widget buttons in the "edit menu shortcuts" to save some confusion. If you can only add widgets to the home hub in that particular spot then the widget button should be only under home. Just my opinion.

I have a feature request. It would be nice to be able to have multiple sizes of widgets in a hub. In the video it looks like there are different sized widgets allowed but I couldn't figure it out.

For my setup I wanted a few regular poster sized widgets, then the bottom widget I wanted to be small squares for network logos. (I have it set it up where you click the Netflix logo and all the Netflix shows come up, or click Hulu and you see Hulu shows etc)
When it's poster sized they are stretched and look awful.

BTW this is my new favorite skin. I've went through alot, and I've never found one I really liked. I just deleted them all except this one. This skin is amazing, thanks for all of your hard work!!!!

You should setup your hubs with smartplaylist and you can set Netflix and Hulu. They shouldn't be stretched

Hi

I am currently having a problem when I setup a widget on home screen that use the highlight widget.  I have set it up to use Recommended Movies and I can see it on my home screen.  When I go to one of the recommended movies, so that the trailer will play, I can see the window expand so that it is getting ready to play the trailer but instead of the trailer playing within the window the trailer decides to play full screen.  Is there any way to stop this so the trailer plays within the window, just like it shows on the video that was crated to show what the skin can do, ie on the video when it goes to play game of thrones it shows the trailer in a windowed screen and not full screen.

I should mention that the trailers that should be playing in the highlight widget are local trailers and not trailers via YouTube.

Hopefully above makes sense.
