Release YouTube
Hello @MoojMidge. I hope this link to Google Drive comes up with the video referred to in earlier posts.

Well, here’s a strange thing.

I am playing around with the settings and if I disable Use InputStream Adaptive in the Advanced tab of the YouTube settings ALL my live streams run HD and at the correct real time. The only downside is that they take around ten seconds to start streaming.

I wonder whether that is of any relevance.

on ubuntu with kde, kodi is crashing on launch of this addon. The problem seems to be a fatal python error.

here is the output of my terminal: https://paste.kodi.tv/ibiqinegon
here is an associated crashlog: https://paste.kodi.tv/otozokepeb.kodi

I had today also only crashes when starting any YouTube Video with the Plugin.
For me it worked to downgrade InputStream Adaptive from the yesterday installed version 21.4.10 back to 21.4.9.
With the old Version the crashes are gone and YouTube is running fine again.

How do I rollback InputStream Adaptive? Only version I can find in the official repo is the latest 21.4.10, and the github does not seem to publish releases?

Unfortunately the only version shown there is 21.4.10. No idea how to get back to 21.4.9. Sad

Have you tried the new YouTube release in post 2347?

Not the beta, since v7.0.8 has since been released.  So I'm using youtube v7.0.8 along with Adaptive InputStream v21.4.10 which I would like to downgrade to 21.4.9, but can't find that version as an option unfortunately.  Guess I will have to try to build it myself from source unless a fix appears.  (For now using Youtube without Adaptive InputStream, so looking at a lovely 640x480 resolution or something. Big Grin

Edit: I tried building inputStream.adaptive from source, but for some reason the output still said it was 21.4.10, even though I checked out the 21.4.9 tag. So obviously I have no idea what I'm doing.  Guess I'll just wait for an official fix.

I removed YouTube and inputsteam adaptive addons and installed the latest beta which reinstalled inputstream adaptive addon and this cleared my fault.

A lot resolution issues in YouTube seem to come from inputstream adaptive errors

Same issue here, thanks for the tip with input stream, working again now.
