Known problems:
-when coming back from a video which was hd the colors are of kodi are strange until you start another video.
-Scaling with madvr as mentionned before still not fix

Receiving these errors on first run:

Fixed the missing dlls and reuploaded. Next time you can just say the name of the dll its enough, ill try to fix it so i dont have to recopy those dependency

i added dlls.zip its every single dlls just copy and overwrite where you installed kodi i will need to fix the package builder

I tested around a dozen 3840x2160 clips with madVR and everything looked great/normal.  Resume positions seemed to be getting registered.  Joystick support is great.  Scaling bug still there for madVR of course, not sure if there's any settings for us to change but I think it's not settings related.  Let me know if you need more info on that.

I took a quick look using MPC renderer.  Scaling was fine but a lot of skipped frames (maybe 1/3 frames skipped).  Log here: ikofatadaj.kodi (paste)

Also, not sure why, but unable to connect to any repository (even main Kodi repo).

For the scaling ill work on it. Did you try to change it. If i remember correctly the keyboard input is "z"

with dialog keyboard "z", this stretched the video to full screen? The face is always distorted.

By pressing "z" several times I got the right aspect, I think.
This change is applied to all videos played subsequently. The setting is reset when Kodi restarts.

Just wanted to give this a try using SVP. Unfortunately i cannot get it to work. In Kodi DSP 17.6 i just had to add "ffdshow raw video filter" as an external filter. However the option is greyed out. Am i doing something wrong or is it just not jet implemented?

its noted ill look into it. I didnt know ffdshow was still used in 2024. Fyi a big part of the code when i upgraded it to the new kodi standards i converted a big part of the code that was not that complex and some part i commented out to fix later. The pvr i commented out, i remember having commented external filters and some other stuff. So just like you did talk about it ill fix it when i have time.
